Best treatment for atherosclerosis: Vitamin C Why do only coronary arteries clog with cholesterol and not veins or small capillaries? If "high cholesterol" is the cause of clogging your arteries, why doesn't it clog the arteries in your finger, your nose, and the smallest capillaries in your toe? Scurvy = No vitamin C in your diet. Symptom: Your blood vessels break and you bleed to death. Think of the sailor of the past. Scurvy of the heart = Just enough vitamin C from food. Symptom: Arteries around the heart are not strong enough to resist high blood pressure. Damage is repaired with cholesterol LP(a) to prevent worse. After years of repair, your arteries become clogged. A guinea pig can also not synthesize vitamin C by themself, just like humans, and needs supplementing 50 mg vitamin C every day and weighs only 1 kilo. Do you really think that 75 mg vitamin C for humans is enough? What is your weight? Enough vitamin C supplement of at least 3000 mg. per day gives strong and flexible arteries. Cholesterol is not needed as a repair agent. Cholesterol in your coronary arteries is broken down and burned in your liver. Vitamin C is needed to make cross linkings for your collagen to make it very strong. So, enough vitamin C gives strong coronary arteries and can resist high blood pressure. I am on warfarin (Coumadin). I test my INR, clotting time at home. I read a comment somewhere on you tube by a person on Warfarin who had also been taking K2 for a year. So i started a very low dose 50 mg of k2. Checking my INR daily. I have been taking 100mg for 4 months, and am back to testing my INR every 1-2 weeks . I have not seen an increase in my INR. . K1 converts to k2. k2 does not convert to k1. I have not heard anyone clearly explain how k2 is involved in clotting. My experience so far doesn't show that. Not suggesting anyone do as I have. Just wishing for understanding.

Thanks for this. Best was knowing the differences in Vitamin K. Suggestion: do not consume dairy or alcohol for 24 to 48 hours before making a video. I'm a singer. This is advice I got long ago for performing, and it works for those who use their voices. This should keep your throat clear. Celebrate the completion of a video with an appropriate feast.

I thought K1 and K2 were totally different vitamins with different effects. But it sounds like you're saying they're effectively the same, though K2 (from bacteria via fermented foods) is much more highly absorbed than K1 (from green vegetables). Great! I'm hoping I'm covered by my regular consumption of cheese and sometimes sour kraut.

k2 helps calcium absorption and needs to be taken with vitamin d3 to be effective.

K vitamins are actually a “family” of vitamins made up of Vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) and Vitamin K2 (menaquinone). Think of K1 and K2 as fraternal twins. They share similarities, such as working in the liver for blood clotting, and chemically, they share a quinone ring called menadione. But that is where their similarities end. Vitamin K2 has several molecules, called menaquinones, which makes it available beyond the liver for other systems, such as the bones and vasculature. Put simply: Vitamin K2 can do what K1 cannot. Obtaining an adequate amount of K2 daily from diet alone is nearly impossible. The most popular Western source of K2 is cheese, but we must focus on quality fermented cheeses, particularly aged (hard) cheeses, because the rind is where we find the all-important Vitamin K2. That said, we would have to eat an overwhelming amount of hard cheese every day - approximately 0.129 lbs (or 59 g) - to obtain just 45 mcg of K2, the minimum amount shown to provide protective benefits!

So Vitamin K2 only slows the progression of vessel calcification it does not reverse it?

Our 3-year cardiovascular study confirmed that 180 mcg daily of MenaQ7 K2 for three years inhibited age-related arterial stiffening, leading to more flexible arteries. It did not show a reversal of calcification.

As I understand it, it takes a year or two for K2mk7 to affect the momentum of arterial calcification deposition. Then there is your age as a factor, and what is an effective dosage to at least halt the calcification. I'm taking 200mcg/day. 🫰- Of course you should be on a low inflammation type diet as well.

Great talk! 0:47 I have been taking vitamin D3 with K2. I also drink ginger juice with fresh beetroot , celery, and pomegranate or blueberry juice with a squeeze of lemon and spirallina powder , few drops of concentrated turmeric ,black pepper and 3 drops of black seed oil mixed in a glass. Oh I use a sprinkle of cayenne pepper as well this helps dilate arteries with the beetroot juice producing nitric oxide. If I get angina (which I haven't for months) I use a quarter of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in juice or water and drink it down. I haven't had to use my nitrilingol angina spray. I have an anti inflammatory diet as well. I do have LP (a) an inherited genetic condition, insulin resistance and did have high blood pressure. I lost 7kgs, my blood pressure is fine now. I do have atherosclerosis, stenosis 97% blockage. I eat NATTO fermented soya beans with KIMCHI before bed, am waiting to see my results in a month. I will post my results on here, God willing.

@user-pt4mu8rk1i That's probably a good idea. As a matter of fact, it's what I do, .so I'm pretty partial to.that. Researchers like to test one thing at a time, so they know what gave an effect. They seldom get around to bringing things together as a system. For example: Magnesium, Vitamin D3 Vitamin K2 These all work together, and we are usually deficient in them. Vitamin A is also involved, but we are usually not deficient in that.

33:05, Ok but 2mg is like 10 times more than daily recommended intake. Typically each pill has around 100mcg, so I should be taking 20 pills per day. 🤣 Dont even want to think how much would that cost. More on that, getting it from food would be impossible. So, condemned to cardiovascular disease? I hope it was mistake on his PowerPoint and he meant to say 2mcg /day, but its unlikely since that would be a ridiculously low dosage. Same for 39:22, 5mg/ twice weekly is not not a very encouraging number. I am taking Vitamin K2 supplements, and while its interesting to watch some of the claimed benefits, all that is presented in this video is not convincing at all. All studies that he mention are epidemiological, therefore is really hard to pinpoint vitamin k2 as the factor that made the difference. Maybe some person started doing exercises, or stopped smoking.
