@tylerricker230 for me, it's fun. It reminds me of how black ops 3 and 4 multiplayer being really fun, and i needed something like to scratch that itch. I always wanted a mix between cod and overwatch or tf2 abilities different gamesmodes.

It looks fun but with the lack of advertising and the fact that is essentially a copy of Cod it probably won't succeed, unfortunately. Also, they prioritize launcher exclusivity on PC and not reaching more people on Steam. I don't see this going far. Especially with Cod fanboys rejecting it just because they need to profess their love to Activision or something. I love Cod but I am always open to other shooters. 🤷‍♂️

i love how xdefiant is doing sbmm how it helps the noobs not get destroyed when they 1st start so they can retain new players get em hooked and join the rest of the community without sbmm, after you really wanna get sweaty the coming ranked mode so that way if u just wanna play and enjoy yourself or have a good challenge. honestly hate how cod does it where every match you have to be at your best at every game gets boring fast since the player base is so similar to you so you dont get to challenge alot of different play styles

Would you say the ttk is closer to black ops Cold War or bo4? Bc those were a little longer than the new mw games. Heard a lot of gameplay comparisons to blackout as well

Not and expert, but to me it looks closer to BO4. I still play Cold War and CW seems like the TTK is a bit fast. Smgs in the game play seem about on point with BO4 weapons like the vesper

The meaning is literally which team has the most kills compared to the enemy team and who evere reaches the amount of kills to end the match wins. They could've just said they didn't want to add tmd cause it's a basic game mode, not make some half ass excuse to try and justify it not being in the game.

Tdm is literally boring. Nobody personally cares which team wins in tsm bc all u care is how u play. You dont have to do anything but killing in tsm while other modes have objectives

I genuinely don't understand the hate on sbmm like doesn't it help players? Like low skill players play with low skill players and highly skilled players play with highly skilled players if its absent then isnt that just high skill players stomping on low skilled players

Essentially if you're in the top say, 10% of players, the issue with SBMM is that it pretty much punishes you for being good at the game. Instead of it just being open, random lobbies, you're guaranteed to go up against people of your own skill level, which is absolutely fair at the end of the day, but it removes the enjoyment for anyone who's put in the time to actually be good at a game. The good thing about no SBMM, is that games are just random. I'm decent at shooters but that doesn't mean I'm just gonna stomp on lower skilled players every game. Sometimes I will, sometimes the match will be really even, and sometimes I will actually be the one getting stomped. It's the variety that keeps the game fresh and entertaining. With SBMM, every game just pretty much feels exactly the same as the last one, and it means that after like 1-2 months of playing, so many people drop off because what's the point in playing, when every single game is just identical to the last one. On top of that, SBMM *does* help lower skill players in that exact moment, giving them easier games, but that then results in those players never actually getting any better at the game. So 5 years from now, those players will still kinda suck, whereas if they were thrown in the deep-end like the rest of us were in the old-school shooters, they'd be far better at any shooter they played because they weren't just having their hand held the entire time

Will they camp? Snip? Kniferun? I will find out in the game but as cod is now i can literally predict the weapons they use, the ways they mostly go and even the attachments they are using. People in my lobbies have youtube pasted loadouts without any personality. Just 1:1 copy from a sweat. Every game in hc snd they spawntube, every game mcw every game the very same slidecanceling, cornerjunping shield on back with akimbo shotguns sweats. Its so tiring so miserable playstyles i have to fight

It all comes down to variety. SBMM makes sense in a ranked setting to maintain a level playing field for all involved but in a casual lobby? Matches become stagnant, boring, formulaic and essentially play out the same way almost each and every time. Old school CoD had no SBMM and was leagues above it's modern iterations in terms of enjoyment because no one match of any mode felt the same.
