Try to get an understanding of these space gods and their minions and then the "gods" from Greek or Norse Mythology. Also, the time frame is wrong vs the comics as this all happened a million years ago (in the comics) vs a few thousand years ago in the MCU. Big disconnect. I liked the aspects of the comics when they came out originally as they were lifted from authors like Von Daniken and made for a compelling epic. But the current film producers are looking for a new audience, not us old fogies...which is why I think there are a lot of reviewers appalled by the changes in the story and characters...

They. Just need to make sure they put ( One Million BC, Ten Thousand BC, and Present Day ) on the screen before they show the scenes as not to confuse the audience.

I'm very thrilled to see Ms. Ridloff as Makkari. OK, so what if the comic version was not deaf? I read somewhere that moving at the speeds Makkari moves can affect a person's hearing, so it shouldn't affect her - that makes sense and makes for a great reason to add this trait in the MCU. Another thing: I find interesting the change done to Kingo's ethnicity, at least they're doing the best to make it original and coherent (I like the Bollywood route). Also, seeing a damn ripped and handsome Mr. Nanjiani doesn't hurt either, hehehe The choice for Sprite is great. I honestly thought it was a boy at first (like the comic). All in all, I'm aware of the many changes they made to the comic characters to fit the MCU. But do not fret, people. I'm sure they'll bring a lot of good to the table.

LEGO has released four Eternal LEGO sets. One has an Celestial in it, I won't give away the name, but it is the same red one we see in the trailers. (Not knowing much Eternal comics lore, I don't even know if the name given by LEGO is part of the written comics - but it could be and could answer a lot of questions for those "in the know").

What if x-gene has been there before the events of captain marvel, but somehow has become dormant because of inactive eternals. The eternals begin to use their powers on such a big scale that they radiate cosmic energy and it activates dormant mutant genes in people. Will it be too inhuman like?

you suggest a most intriguing scenario. In Jack "the King" Kirby's original concept the Celestials created the 3 types of Terran (Deviant....Human...Eternal) they placed the x-gene in humans which could only be activated by enhanced radiation levels. Having the Eternals active and increasing the background radiation would be a way to introduce (finally) mutants in the MCU and pave the way for the X-Men. And no, this approach is not too Inhuman like. Consider this, in the MCU when the Kree created the first Inhumans they modified how the x-gene would be activated with the Terrigenesis instead of enhanced radiation. Thus all Inhuman descendants can only realize their full genetic potential when exposed to Terrigen Crystals. Non-Inhuman mutants would not affected as their x-genes are the original design of the Celestials.

After Avengers Endgame, the next Spiderman movie, and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 the audiences will be done with Marvel Universe for a while. You'll actually see a substantial drop after Endgame. Don't see these other Marvel characters being put to movies really pulling it off.
