Such a stressful top 8 to watch. Every time Sonix spindashed/laddered Tweek for huge damage in these campy games took a chunk out of my soul. Tweek reverse 3-stocking Sonix was such a liberating moment, & probably what Tweek needed to take the whole thing.

Tweek had some weird consistence, in some tourneys he lose against other top or Sonix but in LMMM or GOML specifically plays like a top 5 player and wins against Sonix only to lose again to him in other tourney, it's not bad by he way.

Something to note: Syrup was a Ness main for a long time and has always done pretty well. Him getting out at 9th without Steve isn't really a surprise to anyone. He just uses Steve all the time now because it's far easier to win with him due to how broken the character is. You certainly can't say that Syrup is bad because he's an amazing Ness player but it's very clear how much harder it is for him (and others) to get into top 8/grands without Steve.

I think that steve was banned and it counts as a normal tournament isn't fair cause so you can't compare this tournament with others fairly and for example tweek maybe would not have won the tournament if Steve was allowed
