I am visiting Niagara Falls, Canada at the end of the month. We are flying into Buffalo,NY and plan to Uber into Canada to our hotel. What airport did you all fly into and how did you all make it to your hotel? Was it an smooth process, Any suggestions?

Check out our channel for our Day 1 trip vlog and we take you through the entire process of flying into Buffalo and then getting into Canada. For us, it was very smooth and easy and a pretty quick line at the border! I would recommend booking a car in advance. We found it to be a little bit cheaper than an Uber and it was waiting directly outside the airport for us. Nothing fancy just a standard car, but pre-booked in advance!

I am not exactly sure but I believe we pre-hired a driver who was there waiting. I would guess maybe $70ish possibly. Sorry we don't have that information any more :(

Amtrak is also a good way to get across the border. No line of cars to deal with. Customs only has to deal with that train at the Niagra Falls station.

Wow, that is crazy! We are from Florida and we’ve only ever seen a brown squirrel. I feel like we have traveled a decent bit. I don’t know how we’ve never seen another species squirrel 😂 good to know that they are in the US as well though haha - we will have to keep an eye out

Yes we paid with American at most restaurants. They will do the conversion for you. However, if you go to the local casino, you can convert your cash for free into Canadian dollar. We did convert some money into Canadian just to have in case.

I would recommend restaurant reservations be made prior! And for the excursions like the Niagara Cruise and behind the falls we just walked up and it was never booked up, so you should be good for that 😊
