Great interview. Man, you've come a LONG way.. im so proud of you, and you're so inspiring. I tell all my hiker friends about you, and when talking to my patients about my plan on my PCT hike in 2023, I talk about you. When people ask why, I say "Sometimes, you just have to do it". Hike on, brother.

Great video, bro! Keep it up. I'd love to see more videos on trail then recaps and overviews like this from wherever you've been. I really lol'd when he said "don't take the bear's picture!" Like they hate having it taken! Pretty funny.

I would like to do that trail. My favorite time of the year to hike is September to November. You did it right...no people and it was beautiful...until it snowed and got scary :) Thanks for sharing the info. I hope you get back to Little Bee soon. Germany could have been a little cooler about the situation to be sure.

Thank you so much for sharing this. The mountains are beautiful. I've been trying to learn more about eastern Europe. I've wondered if some of the mountain culture is similar to what I'm used to. One of my friends is an Army vet who was in Bosnia in the '90s, and the history feels very relevant, i feel almost an obligation to understand more about it. I wonder if some of the loneliness you felt there was you picking up on some of what has happened there. As a veteran I feel like you bring a different understanding to going places than someone who might just do it for "fun." I appreciate that!

Great interview together, you both seemed really comfortable together, and many interesting topics, good video clips to accompany the conversation. One thing I wished you two would have discussed a bit were the apparent wild horse-ponies loose where you were hiking. At Grayson Highlands on the Appalachian Trail they have wild ponies there. They have some interesting story with them. Awesome conversation, Cory, thanks❣️😎

We have poskok snake which is the most venomos europian snake. Also dont listen nikola bring paper spray because of dogs. Snake and dogs are danger while hiking in Croatia.
