Hello there, Great video. Question, i want to upgrade all the speakers and amp BUT i want to keep the factory radio with double screen. Does the factory radio allow this? is that possible? 22 Premium ILX

Ok, one more question... LOL. I am trying to find the wiring harness diagram or wire color ID for the radio harness. 2017 Acura ILX base. The harness that converts to a new radio have purple green white gray wires etc for the speakers. but i cant tell from the ILX harness that jacks into the console unit, which wires correspond to the 4 speakers. (skipping the tweeters)

2 questions. I have the 2017 base unit. I bought a single din deck and reran new wires to new speakers, so its totally separate. Is there a conversion snap in to drop the single dinn into a double or do i need to buy a double dinn? and 2, i guess just tapping in the new speaker wires is fine?

@@Ed_Gein you can get a single din pocket from metra or PAC audio. Yeah tapping the wires is fine.

So with the base model, my top screen will display the wrong time for half the year whenever the clocks go forward/backwards for daylight savings

@@jamesjames7601 it's up to you. You can pull the fuse for the clock at 12 so it resets when the time changes or wire the screen so it only powers on when you go in reverse and it never shows the clock. Or just let it be wrong for whatever period of time you decide.

@@Steve-O_FPV this is just releasing so with time more features and setting will be retained. With that being said I have never really seen people complain about the clock this bad on other Acuras.

Actually I have seen this with the MDX that has navigation and the clock being wrong because of daylight savings time.
