Everything You Would Want to Know About the 2017 INFINITI Q50 Hybrid

Just bought one today. Very true that Hybrid q50s are quite rare to find for sale. Also true that the car is incredibly fun to drive! Very responsive and when you punch the gas it turns into a bullet down the road. Mine is black on black so I have a sporty feel with a luxury style. Great car all in all.

These were sold from 2014 to 2019 in Europe until Infiniti pulled out and we did get the "newer" interior with a new steering wheel, gear shifter with logo and rear LED taillights, as well as minor cosmetic upgrades, I believe in Mexico they also sold them updated, I've seen a video here of a car reviewer with a newer model. In Japan, the Skyline (this same car), went as far as to get a front bumper redesign, also hybrid and a more nissan looking cluster.

Does this car turn off the engine at red lights as a prius would ?

Yes if there is enough charge in the battery the engine will shut off while the vehicle is stopped. You can also drive just under electric power up to 60-mph for about a mile or so.

I Don't and Can't Find info Anywhere that Says it Makes 360HP.. Simple Google Search Says it Makes 302HP... Unless they Are Wrong Too... ??

Wow... Just wow. You apparently can't perform a.... "simple Google search". Off the top of my head I'm not sure if any q50 or q50 hybrid makes 302hp. Again off the top of my head, the q50 3.7 v6 makes 328hp... The q50 hybrid with a 3.5 v6 and electric motor makes about 360hp. What's wrong with you that you aren't able to find that same info?

How long does the hybrid battery last on these and are they under warranty?

They use lithium ion batteries so they are designed to last the life of the vehicle about 200-300K miles. The hybrid system is covered by a 96/month unlimited mileage warranty

@@infinitioftacoma1 This was exactly what i was looking for. I am looking into buying a used one with about 140k miles and i was worried how much would it cost to replace or how long will it last. I will get it checked next week so i know what's the state of the battery, but your answer made me a little happy

When you get it inspected i would recommend taking it to an INFINITI service department and request it be inspected by a Master Tech who is certified to work on the Q50 Hybrid. Battery or transmission failure even though every rare can be very very costly, so make sure you get one that was well cared for and regularly serviced at INFINITI.

I have a question!!! What liquid needs to go in the left side of the hood. There’s a bottle there with the warning sticker I believe. What liquids does it need?!

Sounds like a coolant reservoir or a coolant reservoir for the hybrid battery .. typically there is two for hybrid cars
