Been getting into to more comics the past year or so.... could you explain in a short version i havent heard that term. But my lineup would be colosus, cyclops, storm, gambit (because hes been rumored for so long), jean grey, and iceman (been reading him a bit) i dont see wolverine being cast off rip i see him being incorporated in like the 2nd movie or in between the 2nd and 3rd to build on other things of his story fiege never got to tell

@@steelerscountry422 the “Fastball Special” is when Colosus throws Wolverine at enemies. Good choices but for me, I would go with my lineup which had the most iconic storylines in my opinion. I refer my five as the Big 5, that should always be on the team. Favorite all time is the international team with: Cyclops, Wolverine, Colosus, Nightcrawler, Banshee, Thunderbird, Storm & Sunfire.

Since you have 3 of the original might as well include the other two, Iceman and Archangel but Iceman on the active team, Nightcrawler, and Collosus or even have it progress into the 90s blue and gold teams. That way the whole crew is seen. Gold: Storm, Phoenix, Archangel, Colossus, Iceman, and Bishop. Blue: Cyclops, Psylocke, Rogue, Gambit, Wolverine, Jubilee, and Beast plus bring back Nightcrawler and Shadowcat and we'll have a party. It'd be epic.

The last few X-Men movies already overused Mystique, so why add a goofy male version of her for these movies. I always envisioned the X-Men roster that Marvel would use for their MCU would be a iteration of X-Men blue and gold. Having characters like Jean Gray cyclops gambit storm beast, maybe nightcrawler colossus. Also, I envision maybe being one of the leaders of the X-Men team along with Gene Gray, maybe even rogue..

It would be interesting if they did Rogue's origin with her as an antagonist. Starting with her draining Captain Marvel's powers and leaving Carol in a coma. I think they need to keep the story of the original 5, maybe have flashbacks and scenes of what Warren and Bobby are doing after leaving the team. With the option for them to turn up and help at the end. It would make sense, like in the first episode of the series, to have Jubilee come in as the audience POV to have any exposition aimed at. Also, she can provide a bridge between the team and the students so hopefully we can get hints of Kitty, Piotr, Illyana and other younger mutants to expand upon in sequels/spinoffs.
