My phone already had scratches on it because I was too lazy to get a screen protector. The adhesive in this kit becomes like a gel after running it under UV light. All of the micro scratches got filled in an I can't see them anymore with this screen protector. Recommended.

Perfect video. I did the first one trying to read the instructions. A used piece of toliet paper in the box would been more informative. Totally useless. It had no "context" no "this is why this big handles thing is in the box". I had big issues with the fingerprint scanner and also had issues with some dust. Finally used the second one using the tips from the video. No dust bubbles, fp scanner works perfect (did the "press down hard for a min after the first curing" trick)

@Josh_quinonez I accidentally got some of the glue into the top phone-call speaker. Now the call volume is 50% lower. Anyone's got any advice? Should I go to a repair shop and have the speaker replaced? Or get a toothbrush with some thermal paste remover?

Try going over the speaker for about 30 seconds, with a hot blow dryer for just a little bit to warm-up the glue, then immediately scrub with a tooth brush. I can't say this will work, but it's worth a shot before paying to get it done.

Had big problems with the fingerprint sensor after installing , practically drilling a hole through the screen to unlock my phone. Worked 1 out 10 tries.But saw another video that said you should use the UV again. So after 1 week of torture of re-registering fingerprints and pressing hard on the screen turned the phone off and used the uv again for 60 seconds about 3 times with 5 minutes breaks between them. now it works as good as without any screen protector. Hope this helps.

I'm at the point where I don't even want to use tempered glass. They only have adhesive on the edges and seem to not even stay on the screen. Smh.

This glass is brittle. I know that because of the curved display, the integrity of the glass structure is vulnerable on the sides. However, I was trying to put on my case after installation and my nail pressed on the side with little to no pressure. It caused a chip that later turned into a triangle of the top layer glass breaking off. I have another glass, but I'm not so confident in this product anymore.

Same problem with mine. I was able to remove it with dental floss and tried second install. This time the glass moved up towards the top and partially covered the front camera. I swear I was so careful. I also have some bubbles. I wouldn't do this again. Not worth the trouble.

Great screen protector installation video. Not sure I'll be as confident as you, but I'll give it a whirl. Something that's always puzzled me, which you may know the answer to. Mobile phones being very expensive, I would have thought phone manufacturers would have considered installing them as part of the phone build, particularly where there's a curve glass edge. They did. I had bought my Note 20 Ultra with screen protector already installed. Now I'm using S22U but it came with no screen protector. Just as they no longer include charger adapters. I think they are cutting the cost. Or forcing customers to buy separately instead 🤣🤣🤣

Wish I had seen this video before I used my entire 2-pack just to have inconsistent sensor use for unlocking, I could hardly get prints to register! Great vid and better instructions than Whitestone. They should make your additional step to setup the fingerprint reader part of their recommended method!

I redid mine, using that method, and it STILL doesn't work. Not sure why. But sometimes things go that way. Tolerances between items can stack on each other. Some work, while others never will.

I am destined to fail miserably at things like this. Second try following this method I ended up with a bunch of adhesive on my table, a little chip out of the glass after applying and a fingerprint sensor thats still a disaster. Crap product... don't buy this... tried it twice and nearly ruined my phone... waste of money. The glue simply did not disperse in a bubble but all over the phone, the glue came out of the opening for the camera ON TOP op the glass... and under the glass was not enough glue to cover the full phone... CRAP. 50€ wasted.

Used one of these on my last 3 generations of samsung phones. Never once had one break until recently. I think I was pulling it out my pocket in the car and it bent the middle just enough to crack it right down the middle. Later, I dropped it on the corner in my driveway and that annihilated it. Used this exact set up. Screen protector went on and looked exactly as seen flawless. But come to the case.... install the case and looked great till about an hour later go to pick it up and corners had pressure from case. Caused protector separation from screen. Thought maybe installer error as I am far from pro but nope was told can happen try the second one in box. Wait what? Then the process of removing just to put my 2nd one one. Nope I will take my phone and the 28 employees phones upgraded yearly elsewhere for protection from now on. Try thr second one.. huh.. and I had put on last three exchanges. Very sad.

One thing i dont understand, and i have seen it with every step by step youtube video out there installing this protector on S22 ultra is why they decide to put the black adhesive strip protector on the left side of the phone when clearly on that side is nothing to protect? Correct me if im wrong but i think that two of black strip protectors should go on the right side of the phone, where the volume buttons are and below, where the 5G mm wave antena is. Appreciate the video tutorial. Installed the Supcase UB after 60 second curing process and it ended up lifting the corners as most people experienced. Second attempt, I followed the process but left it overnight before installing the Supcase UB phone case and was able to do so without issues.

Now I know where I failed. In the video you mention the glue has to go all the way down to the circle, but actually it has to go all the way down to the line. It's hard to see what you are doing in the video. Should have seen another video from another install, before giving it a try. There is some videos of the installation, where you can actually see how the glue travels. This was not much a help to me tbh

My keys scratched the surface of the screen while in my pocket. Looked ugly and deep that my finger nail would get caught in it. Decided to protect it with this Whitestone dome glass so it wouldn't get worse. After installation to my unexpected surprise the scratch completely vanished!! Looks like the liquid glue filled up the scratch, no matter how hard I look I can't find the scratch. Your video made it so easy to install! Thanks so much

Thank you, Josh, for the video tutorial. Your instructions made the task a little less daunting. I installed the glass before going to bed then the next morning, I tried to put on the UB Supcase but the top right corner of the glass started to peel off. I figured that maybe the glue needs more curing so I hit the top/middle/bottom of the phone with the UV light for 60 secs. each one more time just for good measure. Then I waited for a few more hours and voilá the damn thing worked! I was able to finally use the Supcase with no problems. So, make sure you wait at least 12 hours for the glue to set before you put on the Supcase. That's what worked for me, at least.

I had my air filter on for 4hrs in my room to make sure it was dust free haha. It was my first time using a Whitestone dome screen protector and I aced it my first try as well. Also the UAG phone cases fit even with the W.S.D scree protector. I got the Kevlar for my 22 ultra makes it look badass

whitedome and amfilm has its prons and cons, What i like about the whitedome is that there is stickers that protects from the glue to not go in. I have never tired a tepered glass before so im a bit afraid to mess it up lol

@@nancierivera1220 It's Been fine, no dust got trapped, the crispness of the screen is brilliant. It's holding up really well. Infact I accidentally tested the screen saver a couple of days after I installed it. I ran across a road and my phone fell out of my pocket and skidded face down across the road surface! The screen saver took a chip to its side but the phone was totally undamaged. I replaced the screen saver with the other one in the pack without any difficulties. This is by far the best screen saver I have ever bought.

Good detailed instruction video, but this product is a huge fail and waste of $50. Edge gaps, multiple dust bubbles and I watched your video twice prior to install. This was my first glass protector and last, back to the HD Clear Film cover that looks great, is simple to install without dust and costs 20%. Maybe you could add video about what to do to fix the bubbles or edge gaps and how to remove this.

So what happens if you crack this screen protector ? Are you then stuck with a screen with adhesive stuck all over the screen that's difficult to remove, this essentially ruining the OEM stock screen ? (Legit question).. Because I've never used a screen protector such as this and since I just upgraded My phone to a S22 Ultra that I had to pay for out of pocket due to My carrier being a CDMA network, hence (I need unlocked devices). There is no need for the adhesive to cover the sensor, it should be designed to omitt that part during the installation and instead offer a simple plastic cover in the area. Combine 2 methods

It's probably late, but when applying the screen protector you should apply a bit more force than what the weight alone is. My guess is that it allows a thinner layer of adhesive between the phone screen and the screen protector glass, which means your finger is closer to the fingerprint reader

Had this system for 3 phones just installed mine for my Ultra 22 and no problems. First time users may be intimidated at first but just watch the videos and it's a piece of cake. Touch screen and S-pen work flawlessly! Never had a problem! I just got a 2 screen pack from Amazon it was on sale can't beat that or the system! Highly recommend it!

@@damonclark7040 they can easily be removed just lift it up from the corners and it leaves no residue, the glue once cured with the uv light leaves no bubbles if applied correctly. This system saved 2 of my phone screens and I believe they have a warranty too you can't go wrong with this system it is a solid screen protector worth the extra money

Hi! I already mounted Dome Glass on Note10+ 2 years ago and now on S22 Ultra, and every time I have a very annoying problem: light leaks at the edge of the glass. This glowing frame, right after putting the glass on, is usually broken in some places, slightly chipped or thickened. What am I doing wrong - washing off excess glue too much before curing or what? I am asking for advice.

i used these cases on my s21 ultra and used that screen protector for the first time. great combo. i was told i might not be able to get the case off again but had no issues. been waiting for this video. picked up my s22 ultra yesterday. i like the new clear case.

I got the Green Unicorn Beetle Pro Supcase, the Cyber Edition Latercase & the Spigen Thin Fit Case for my S22 Ultra that should be delivered any minute now.. 🤞 lol *I did call Samsung & they told me that Whitestone or any Glue type screen protectors do Void Samsung's Warranty.. (guess that's why Whitestone turns off Commenting on their videos 🤷‍♂️) Not sure why because they are IP Rated but he did mention something about the glue seeping down into the on/off buttons but I don't care. I just bought a $7 3pk of EGV TPU Screen Protectors & some Rear Camera Lense Protectors. I live around a bunch of rocks & they'll destroy a phone fast! I've had a Black Unicorn Beetle Pro on my Note 10 Plus since it's release & they both still look brand-new! Nice vid 🤟

Samsung doesn't have any way of knowing what screen protector you use if you don't leave it on in the event you need to send it in for service. Legally if it's not explicitly stated in the warranty they can't void your warranty based on the use of an accessory without proving that the accessory caused the problem.

If you want a dust-free environment, install this in your bathroom with hot water running in the tub for a little bit. The moisture will keep all the dust down.

Tried this, ran a hot bath, left the bathroom door shut for 30mins, then went in and install my screen protector, still got one or two dust particles under there somehow.

@@jonnygti I don't know what to say... Did you not use the sticky tapes they provided to pick up any dust? Like how can you not see the dust or most importantly, how can there's still dust if the room is full of moisture. With respect, I think the problem is with you and not the methods lol.

@@SteveL11 of course I removed the dust, but in those few seconds it takes for me to peel off the backing, and set it on the screen, there must have been more dust settle on the screen lol this isn’t a Whitestone Dome, just a regular screen protector

@@jonnygti the problem with this gimmicky screen protector is that there’s so many steps , that it just allows more time for dust to settle and get trapped in the liquid glue.

I just watched your video. It was very informative & way better then any instruction sheet would be. I was able to do a successful job the very 1st time (ever) all thanks to you! (The adhesive kept falling to the side, so I had to tilt the phone to put it back where it was initially. But it worked even though the adhesive spread a little and didn't go exactly by the circle.)

WSDG is SO OVER RATED and OVER PRICED. I got a better deal with AM Film Glass, does the same thing and install is really EASY. NON of the complicated GO GO Gadget BS. Plus AM Film Glass has a lifetime warranty and it comes in 3. I installed mine flawlessly and have the Otterbox Defender Series in Fort Blue.
