Hi Elliott, it's looking pretty good. When I did mine I ended up cutting the foot right down to the bottom of the slide. Pieces sometimes still get jammed between the curved rail and the wedge but not too bad. I've actually been using mine quite a bit the last few weeks to split up bundle wood. I kind of forgot how good it works. That 4 way is going to be nice. I'll email you a pic of my latest creation. Dale

I had same idea. Alot of work. I wonder why no box stores carry this style splitter?

I'm not sure to be honest, seems like it is becoming the popular style lately...maybe its time for them to adapt!

@@EverythingElliott what? Did tell the neighbor kid to sit under it and hold it up? Lol. I hold mine down with and old huge red oak block with the tow chains under it. Lol.

I’m going to leave a comment because it helps your analytics But I’m not sure how to say it but the welding is both adequate neither one of them was anything to write home about but then again, nothing to be embarrassed of either

Thanks for the support! Not a welder by trade, but just dangerous enough to stick 2 pieces of metal together!
@Alan_Hans__ Жыл бұрын
Very nice. There's a few mods on kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5_Qc3ecfN6ljbc that might be worthwhile while you have the welder (and a new grinder) out. As you were belting into the piece of steel I saw the grinder taking a direct hit if you kept going. You kept going :(
@EverythingElliott Жыл бұрын
That grinder lived a good life, thanks for the recommendations, I'll check it out!
