Asmongolds youth shows around 6 minutes when he says why to the guy saying people were shocked that healers wore robes. Listen children there was a day when healers wore heavy/medium armor and healing spells were close range. They had to be on the front lines.

@@sochimon5944 no, tauren druids were pulled out of blizz's ass cause they didn't feel like making more than two faction-restricted classes, so they just gave druids to the tauren and made up some shit about them having been friendly with nelfs before the war

Everyone gives Paladins hell, but they were very strong in Vanilla and could do things other classes couldn't do solo.

Pretty sad that Huntards became the new Paladin class. easiest of all, dont have to mash many buttons. would of been nice if Paladin remained at the bottom, a class for beginners like they were intended to be.

Priests in dungeons and dragons are plate wearer, they are called clerics, and as you probably know, DaD, rpg mechanics can be seen in a lot of modern games

pretty sure clerics can wear any type of armor since they have proficiency in all of them. Most clerics are "battle casters" and their armor usually reflects the role that their faith traditionally performs some clerics are heavy plate mace wielding warriors that happen to be able to call on their gods aid to cast spells. Some faiths are more supportive roles providing healing and buffs from the backlines and don't even really have any weapons training these clerics can traditionally be found wearing robes or light armor. In the actual game however your armor type is usually chosen based on how you wanna play if you are in the front heavy and high spell casting penalties if you are in the mid range pick up range with extra attacks of opportunity then you would wear a medium armor slightly less defense slight less casting penalties. If you are primarily a spell caster you might go for robes or light armor depending on if how much trust the people that are supposed to be engaging most of the enemies in combat encounters. It should be noted however that most clerics in dnd wear armor on the heavier side even some that don't fight often because unlike arcane casters who's armor gives them a chance to fizzle spells divine casters are only effected by the spell casting speed penalty associated with heavier armor.

Most Cleric types can only wear medium armor. The only Clerics that can wear Heavy Armor from the get-go is Forge Domain and Death Domain IIRC, maybe Grave too.

DK technically is the opposite of the paladin, at least in WC 3 lore (Paladin's had holy light which healed the living or hurt the unded, DKs had Death coil which did the same just the opposite, same was with Resurrection for Pala and Animate Death for DK). Warriors can't use spells, DKs can. Right before I started playing Vanilla back in the day I wondered if the undead priests will have different kind of spells than other living races priests, because technically "heal" should've hurt the undead and spells like death coil could heal them, but it does the opposite if used on other races. It makes sense to be this way, but I understand why they just made the Undead Priest like every other race priests. It would've been impossible at the time to balance the healing for the undead. Imagine if every healer had different spells just to be able to heal 1 race and other to heal every other race.

limited crowd control? Why did they forget that? Whenever I enter a battleground I get sapped cycloned banished 90% slowed stunned 3 times then cycloned again until I just die

All I can say is get good, if you are in cyclone you are taking no damage, if you are sapped it's because you weren't in combat stop doing nothing and that wont happen, you can't get banished so you're an idiot, there are no more 90% slows in game anymore, and you also have a trinket what exactly are you using it on? This is a learn to play issue and nothing else.
