I wonder if it's worth getting my bloods done. I know my diet needs a major overhaul. I exercise a lot and that really does help with my ADHD.
@DocSnipesАй бұрын
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It’s great to hear that exercise has been helpful in managing your ADHD-physical activity can make a big difference by boosting focus and mood. Getting your bloodwork done could definitely be worthwhile, especially if you’re considering changes to your diet. Nutritional deficiencies, like low levels of certain vitamins or minerals, can sometimes affect focus and energy levels, so understanding where you’re at can guide you in making more targeted adjustments. A balanced diet can play an important role in managing ADHD symptoms, so even small, gradual changes could have a noticeable impact. It’s all about finding the right combination of support that works for you! Are there any specific areas of diet or nutrition you’re curious about for ADHD management? That might be a great place to start exploring!

Love the videos on Codependency! I have Innatentive ADD so I found this very informative. I wanted to pass along that eating carnivore for the past year and half has been great for my ADD in a few ways. I don't have the disruption of the gut brain axis anymore, that can literally take me "offline" for a long time. Most of the time I have zero GI distress and don't even remember I have a stomach till I eat something that's plant based and get resultant stomach pain and fermentation. Another plus is not getting hangry, no ups and downs in blood sugar and only need a short amount of time for my eating window. Another plus is not wondering what to eat, just meat. Almost forgot, I noticed you mentioned inflammation in this video. I've been tracking my CRP (downstream inflammation) over the years. I have a medical background and it seems that's the one to watch for some time now. When I was eating a regular healthy diet I was 5.0 Then I switched to Keto and got a 1.7 After that I did after a year of strict carnivore and it was 0.6 on hsCRP test. I know it's antidotal but it's great to see a big improvement there. I also have tons of other labs that are dramatically going in the right direction. Again, thanks for your content, keep up the good work!

Inflammation in adhd will be from the stress of doing stupid shit constantly because you have adhd My psychiatrist put me on tyrosene while i was depressed and while on it my symptoms reduced.
@DocSnipes4 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s interesting how managing neurotransmitter balance can have such an impact on symptoms. Tyrosine is a precursor to dopamine, which is often linked to attention and motivation, so it makes sense that you noticed improvements while taking it. As for inflammation, there is some research suggesting a connection between chronic stress, ADHD, and inflammation, which can create a feedback loop. ADHD can indeed lead to stress from impulsive actions or executive function struggles, which in turn can increase inflammation. It’s great that you’re finding ways to manage your symptoms, and it’s always encouraging when something works well for you. Remember to keep working closely with your psychiatrist to find the best plan for your needs. Supplementing by GABA?
@TheCipriottu2 жыл бұрын
GABA Does not cross blood brain barrier, even if it does syntethic GABA is polarised same as the receptors so its not binding on the receptors, u can supplement with L theanine that block the Glutamate receptors so that make GABA dominate over Glutamate. Also some bacteria in the gut (Some Bifidum species if i remember correct) make butyrate GABA is gama Amino Butyrate
