Always hurts to lose a furry friend my condolences. I had a scare shortly after adopting my little orange kitten named nacho..... the shelter he was at was incredibly run down and almost all the cats were sick. He wound up having some terrible disease that made his head tip to one side and he was barely able to move.... both myself and the vet were almost certain he wasn't going to make it but I will never give up on a friend, so I spent every penny I had and got him treatment. I'm glad to say my little buddy is doing great and has all the energy in the world 😁👍

Obi will be greeted by my Ambellina. I helped her cross the bridge after a short but tragic battle with squamous cell carcinoma in July 2024. She was the best friend a girl could have had for the last 17 years. She left the week before I moved to a new state. It was her way of making sure all of the sadness stayed behind. Maybe you have a new life adventure coming up that Obi is preparing for. Love and light to you and Sarah.

I agree with the white noise comment. I believe the Handbook of Parapsychology written by Wolman (mostly garbage) suggests it is the white noise is what allows the ghost to manifest a voice, not a radio changing stations, but I would have to agree with Shane, the "evidence" would go to zero. I would love a segment on the show trying new equipment maybe also an episode showing what the equipment is like at a location with no "activity," so we have something to compare it too. Loved the season thanks!

Yeah, but Ryan deceives himself with the tools being based in "science". Scanning radio signals, unseen magnetic fields, etc, give the tools a scientific layer for people to convince themselves its real science. That's why Shane calls them pseudoscience. It sucks, because while I'm a Shaniac, I'd love for there to be real science done in pursuit of ghosts, as opposed to most ghost hunting shows. While these guys don't fake evidence, its made a turn toward being like every other ghost hunting show now.

30:00 - For "gestation time" from "death to ghost", it took 10 days from the night of my mothers' death for weird things to start happening around the home she lived in (a weird scent in the laundry room that shared a wall to the living room with the TV she loved to watch flipping channels rapidly for no reason - and I verified that it wasn't the satellite box as after I disconnected it the TV started changing channels instead, and none of my neighbors experienced anything similar nor other TVs in the house)...then another 5 days for me to identify the smell as her favorite perfume she hadn't ever worn in the house and recall an old Unsolved Mysteries episode I saw as a kid about electronic phenomenon and my mother telling me that she'll let me know she's okay after she dies by messing with the TV. The moment I called out that I'm okay and that she didn't need to stick around the scent vanished and the TV stopped flipping channels. That TV never had that issue before, and it hadn't since. So, gestation from death to ghost is likely around 10 days in our physical perception of time. No telling how time is perceived on an energy basis.

I can finally declare a firm belief in the paranormal. My coworker and I were talking at work, no other people at the care center where we work (I'm an embalmer and my coworker a removal tech/transport specialist), sound was off on computers and nothing was playing on our phones. We both heard a male voice say mmhmm in the same area when I was verbalizing counting how many times I received a phone call from our answering service after work. It sounded clear as day, and sounded just like any other living person. It did not sound paranormal at all at around 1:05am Dec 26. I was counting how many times our answering service called my phone after my Christmas shift ended. I was counting 1...2...3..MMHMM..and it came from around the phone speaker nearby me. People say ghosts talk through radios/speakers/etc. And in our case it did. I named him Frank the friendly ghost. It wasn't even a whisper and it felt like it accidentally said it out loud like we weren't supposed to hear them. Later that day my coworker also saw the mouse on the computer screen behind me move with no one else around. I also kept hearing the break room door bump open a bunch and when I went to close it completely, it was already shut all the way, alongside all the other nearby doors. After I went to check all the doors, I don't recall hearing the door noise again. Ima say that Frank's into pranks.

The actual answer? It would never flicker, and Ryan would blame it not being sensitive enough for ghosts or something. Mag Lights are good tools for paranormal investigators because they randomly go off and allow for coincidences - not because they have sound methodology behind proving or disproving interactions with ghosts.

Coincidences and ambiguities that can be twisted to whatever narrative they want to build(they meaning Ryan or commenters who believe). I mean, its fun, but it spits in the face of science.
