I think resurrection is concockted by Paul and his cronies, so that he comes back to annoint him as an apostle.

I believe that it was in 1958 that it was proven that the man wrapped in the shroud of Turin was alive and active bleeding at the time he was wrapped in the shroud, therefore if this was Jesus then he was still alive at that point. Bear in mind that in ancient times pneuma(breathing) was believed to be the primary sign of life, so they would have believed that someone with no active signs of breathing was dead. Now with modern advances in medicine we know that a person can show no visible signs of life but still actually be alive

The amount of scientific evidence of life after death and reincarnation is enormous, based on NDEs and OOB's.

Any ideas where I can find this apocalypse of Jesus, son of Annas referred to at 18:58?

This is even worse "scholarly" work than Caesar's Messiah. It's lazy and pure conjecture.

I'm no physician, but it is plain to me that a man beaten then crucified could easily get a broken rib to pierce a lung, resulting in a fatal condition known as hemothorax, where the plural cavity is filled with effluvium and blood, preventing the lung from drawing in air. The Roman soldiers on crucifixion detail wouldn't lance executionees for gits and shiggles then call them dead with active bleeding apparent. They poked him in the side for a reason and knew what they were looking for. I think the account of two Jesus's is because there were two. One was killed and lanced, the other witnessed by only five or whatever people who knew him, all of which when home before evening fell. The two Jesus's narrative parallels the Yom Kippur ceremony, of which the goat released alive is the one whom the sin of the people are placed on. This is "the custom" that is referred to, and linking the crucifixion events to it is the origin of the nebulous and convoluted atonement theory. One Jesus died. One Jesus was released. The witnesses who knew the gospel Jesus were at home. The witnesses who saw a Jesus die may not have known there had been two. No death faking needed. No hallucinations needed. Just a tomb, one that was always empty and was pointless to guard. The guards didn't abandon their post-- probably the officer in charge needed to not waste men guarding it. It is a miracle he was released, and the need to keep a secret created the opportunity for confusion among followers. Clearly the deal would have been exile. "Joseph of Arimathea" must have offered a political deal; I don't think a bribe (or asking nicely!) would have done it.

Jumping in early upon listening, but there's a conflation of the Luke and Matthew nativity scenes. The Magi in Matthew brought expensive gifts, not the shepherds in Luke.

You have misunderstood my criticism of Ralph. I criticized Ralph for placing King Arthur in the first century CE because he thinks King Arthur is Jesus which is just absurd. I don't take anything he says seriously and I really get frustrated when people say they think there are parallels between my work and his. I have already done video after video after video explaining that there are practically no similarities between my work and Ralph pseudo-Ellis's works.

@@jeffersonian000 the vulgate as referenced by Ralph Ellis is not 5th century. It’s 14/15th century at the earliest. I dare you to read the earlier Arthurian legends and tell me they’re more than Christian fan fiction (morality plays) that fit the time period they were conceived in. His conspiracy of hidden esoteric history in the vulgate is nonsense.

Jesus was a common name (Yeshua). The "Yeshua" who was son of Caiaphas and father of Miriam could easily have been a different Yashua. It is widely held that Joseph of Arimathea was Jesus' great uncle. Scores of experts and traditions in England and India state this in connection with the abundance of evidence that Joseph of Arimathea, a wealthy tin merchant and govt official (nobilis decurian, a high secular position not a religious position), took the young Yeshua (Issa) to England (Glastonbury, in SW England (Tin Islands, because the sea was higher then) ), to study with the Druids, and later took him to India for the lost years, then arranged with Pilate to get Yeshua off the cross and out of the country asap and never return, and get him to Kashmir to find and teach to one or more of the Lost Tribes of Israel (there are scores of hard evidence that one or two of the Lost Tribes went to Kashmir). Yeshua as a Samaritan military revolution is highly speculative with insufficient evidence. This video imho has many interesting and possibly valid insights, but too many speculative leaps with insufficient evidence, although the evidence and reasoning that Yeshua survived the crucifixion is substantial.

Why would you believe that the Gospels convey accurate information when they contradict each other? And outside the Gospels, there is no historical document that discusses the empty tomb. So where is the evidence that gives the subject any worth of even discussing it?

Jesus survived the crucifixion. Funny how they don't get the main part. All of the sin of mankind placed on him. That is what matters. He who knew no sin became sin for us. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins and for our only but the sins of the whole world. Yep a totally righteous holy divine person gets all the filth of humanity dumped on him. Why his Father forsakes Him. Guess they like that all humanity is headed for the lake of fire eternal torment. That is what occurs without the death and resurrection of jesus.
