Bob Barker was hesitant to sign on until he saw that he won a fight with Adam Sandler. He also refused a stunt double. He told them “I know how to fight”. He wanted to do the scene. He studied Tang Soo Do with Chuck & Aaron Norris. The funny thing about the mini golf scene is Adam Sandler did the voice of the clown so he was laughing at himself. 30:08 it’s funny his caddy barely reacts to Happy getting hit by the car.

Adam Sandler originally wanted Ed McMahon to do this part. However, he either didn't return the call regarding it or he didn't like the script. It's a bit conflicting as to why he turned it down.

Great movie. Other great comedies like this are Adam Sandler Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer, Water Boy, 50 dates and Don't Mess with Zohan. Another comedy in this style is There is something about Mary with Ben Stiller. Rip Carl Weathers.

The only thing lacking in this movie was the orderly not getting his comeuppance. It was filmed, but it was cut out of the theatrical version of the movie. You can see the deleted scene online. I wish had stayed in the movie.

Juvenile humor, with heart. I know Sandler isn't for everyone, but the MF'er cracks me up and makes me cry too. Love his films. If you haven't seen his others (Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer, Mr Deeds, Click, etc), they're tons of fun, and heart-warming at the same time. Hope you react to more.
