The Devil Gene actually comes from Jin's dad's side; which would be the Mishima family. they retconned it in T7 that instead of Kazuya making a deal with the devil, the devil gene passed from his mother (Jin's paternal grandmother). Jin also hated _only_ the Mishima side of his family, so he unlearned the Mishima karate but left the stuff her mother taught him (I suppose). but yeah DJin plays like T3 Jin since people really, really didn't like Jin's T4 moveset.

Which is weird considering modern jin moveset is way more fun and creative than devil jin in t7 lol. They did a great job evolving it.

@@zharifafiza5550 I really disliked Jin and Djim as a kaz AK and Hei player.. But after learning a bit of Jin he is super fun, prefer the more honed in less generalized characters tho. So I play kaz for 50/50 Hei for plus frames and AK mix of both emphasis on movement

Originally it was the Devil, or at least part of it, leaving Kazuya and entering Jin (in T3 pre-rendered intro we see the Devil entering Jin leaving a mark on his keft arm). Gaining back that part of the Devil was Kazuya's main goal in T4, and the reason Kaz wasn't able to transform into Devil. Until T7's retcon where the Devil was a genetic trait inherited from Kazumi, and where Kazuya is now able to transform into Devil even though he never retrieved Jin's half. A funny inconsistence is how Jin constantly uses the Devil's mark as his personal emblem, despite him despising that power.

Overall good video, however, one thing you got wrong in the Jin Kazama section is that the Devil Gene isn’t from the Kazama bloodline, it actually comes from the Mishima side through his father, Kazuya who inherited it from his mother, Kazumi, and what he inherited from the Kazama side was an ability to control the Devil Gene, which manifests in Jin as visions of his mother that calm him down.

It is kinda stupid to say but there are people claiming that Jiro is the brother that helped hattori and married her. Also, Diana's battlepass (i forgot the crossover name) makes her evil as well.

The only connection that jiro and hattori have is that jiro used to train in the the city where the brother lived (if that even counts as a connection) but yeah if that were true it would mean jiro and hattori are married which I don’t see that being a thing.

Instead of Hattori, you should've mentioned Takuma Sakazaki/Mr.Karate or the New Face Team/Orochi Team. While Mr.Karate is not really an evil version of Takuma lore-wise, I think it is worth mentioning because they vastly differ in fighting style, and the CYS just literally become different person (lore-wise and gameplay-wise).

Mu-12 isn't an evil counterpart. She is more of an emotionless tool - what Noel was created for in the first place. Also Mu-12 was never split from Noel, it was more of a projection of her anxieties, that she had to accept within. BB lore is kinda complicated, so I don't think anyone would be mad for misunderstanding, most likely I made some error on my own, but yeah, Mu-12 is not evil, and it's not even counterpart. It's like calling Tsubaki and Izayoi counterparts, or Jin and [REDACTED].
