always hated to term Glass-cannon. always used to refer to characters that deal high damage, but have low defense. that just isn't the case at all for an actual Glass canon. a cannon made of glass; firing, would very much destroy itself. the glass cannon term should have always been for exactly that, a character who deals high damage at the cost to themselves directly. like a character who has to spend health to use certain specials. characters with high damage and low defense should have been referred to as something that actually fits those characteristics. like a ceramic knife, it cuts well and stays sharp when used the intended way. but if you apply pressure to it from the outside, it snaps.

I finally learned how to add characters to my mugen, i have at least 100 characters now 😂

3:12 I have an Idea to make it less like a line if you doge in any direction and attack you do a Sidestep which beats dodges and makes you return to you're neutral position after the attack ends, but if you're Opponent didn't dodge will you sidestep atacked him he won't get attacked by you're hit, but he can attack you making you open to being punished. I don't know if it will turn the rps line into a Triangle, but it seems like a very unique way to beat a Defense Option for a Platform Fighter

I've been editing and playing Mugen for about 15 years now I remember first wanting to download it because I wanted to see a fight between evil Ryu and Violent ken. The best part about it is you'll always wanna change something and make it more complete. Some negatives many can tell you were gatekeeping of characters or stages and stealing etc which is why there are several communities in Mugen not just one. Glad people are still playing this and if you are new to this remember to always be patient because projects or characters can take YEARS to finish I recently got a character that I wanted to for my collection that took 9 years in the making.

A grab in a game with out a blocking system is just a contextual animation

Any kind of invincibility, Potemkin's especially due to how prevelant his is, just feels terrible to play against. Overdrives also feel bad despite not being straight up invincibility buttons. They just break the flow of a match to put you in a cutscene you either know won't hit or know will kill you-letting you sitting there and sigh.

Depending on the game, I can swing from one side to the other. In tekken, when I see a good king that hits me with some grab I've never seen before and I get outplayed I respect it, but if its a character like zangief or Potemkin, unless they are going for Kara cancels or other techs, they just kinda only go for grabs, and that's when I call them a glue eater
