Milim is not over sexualized in the light novels in fact she's smarter and more cunning and you also find more insight into our character because there is a brief time where you read the world from her point of view In fact at 1 point in the story she even tricked Rimiru into giving her candy by telling information that was widely available, but made it seem like a big secret so she outsmarted him

same though i finished S1 awhile ago, but it took me some time to watch it, for the longest time i just pushed it off assuming it was just another uninteresting isekai or maybe something similar to smartphone in another world (god that anime was shit), glad i watched it, cant wait for them to catch up to season 2

Thing is, I enjoyed season 1, but this arc could've been fleshed out longer, like seeing how he was able to overcome Charybdis and take over its power, what's more this arc had good build up, but the pay off felt lack luster, especially considering the last arc with Orc Lord. Just felt like how they dealt with Charybdis was done in a way that made all the preperation useless, if they gave a decent enough explanation as to why then i could overlook it, but it just felt like plot conveniece, although the manga version was far better, this was rushed. But the rest of season 1 i really enjoyed, cause it focused on world building and explained past and future events to occur, what's more explore different sentient beings that are in this world, and expanded on shisui's history and the stuff she accomplished and left behind. Season 2? My god is it ever enjoyable, althought i do wish they had more time to build the releationship with Youme and myulan, kind of felt like a sudden confession.
