Mia is a beast and one of the only characters to be an antagonist, a protagonist and a badass final girl. Fede Alvarez did a masterful job of directing this movie.

I don’t think it’s necessarily too far fetched to see the necronomicon (I’m sure I butchered that spelling) as a independent entity of its own. I have a theory that the book has a significant amount of influence that drives those who are around it to read it. I mean, we’re dealing with demonic evil here. Makes it less frustrating for me when characters in evil dead make questionable decisions

I LOVED this movie. I cheered at the tongue splitting and yelled as she stabbed the demon through with the chainsaw. Love for the original movies and the character Ashley absolutely fed into this, and Sam Raimi definitely delivered. I'm definitely looking forward to its sequel next year. there is actually an unrated cut to this movie i finally bought and loved it more then the theatrical version you gals watched was the same version in theatres i also saw it on opening night and was interesting to see and hear the entire theatre screams and sounds during this movie back then :) the director's cut has a bit more footage they first showed in the red band trailer when it first came out in 2013 and in past few years i seen they released this movie again on bluray and FINALLY!!! Added the director's cut that shows david chain sawing his friends in half and other scenes like mia looking at her friend natalie saying we're gonna get you not another peep time to go to sleep. sleep! Sleep Sleep!! some of those are the scenes in the directors cut that definitely wasn't the normal release :) i give this remake especially the unrated version on bluray a 10/10 hey i know this video old now but i loved your reactions. Fingers crossed you girls try and react to Evil Dead Rise that hits movie theatres soooon!

The first one is lacking plot and character development but the gore is over the top with one infamous scene but it’s short while the second one is 2 hr 30 min but it’s very gross in the sense of it’s gore but the characters are excellent and you’re never bored.

This is definitely my favorite Evil Dead movie. Don’t get me wrong the original is great but I love how this one is just horror and not also comedy. It’s such a great horror film. I highly recommend y’all react to the musical!
