Күн бұрын

In March 1989, when Marine Captain Shirley Gibbs Russell failed to report for duty, friends and colleagues believed this was out of character and suspected there was foul play at hand. The FBI was called in and they noticed her husband, Robert Russell, a former Marine, acting suspiciously. There was no body, no witness and no weapon, only a 26-step plan for murder. The FBI would have to rely on circumstantial evidence if they wanted to put him behind bars.
The FBI Files is an American television docudrama series. Each episode describes actual FBI cases which include murder, narcotics, bank robberies, and kidnapping as well as other crimes. These are portrayed through dramatic reenactments and interviews with agents and forensic scientists who worked on the investigations.

It should be the same policy worldwide but unfortunately it is not because too many bleeding heart liberals seem to enjoy allowing sick killers to walk free and re-offend because they believe in human rights and that killers can be "reformed" into society. It's a complete joke.

This is why it’s not as simple as “just leave” abusers… she left him and he killed her! :(

The first 3 weeks after leaving an abuser are THE most dangerous times in an abused person's life. Odds are high of being killed at that point since the abuser realizes they've lost control.

I BELIEVE this guy told his mistress he suspected his wife of cheating as a ruse. He had his mistress follow her so later she could back up another bs story that his wife was cheating and MABEY HER SECRET LOVER KILLED HER. He had a lot of different angles but his loose lips sunk his ship. God Bless the victim and her family and friends. She deserved far better than this goof...

I'm shocked that no one blocked off a potential crime scene, thought a stain in the garage could've been blood but was easily persuaded by the prime suspect that it was rust and walked away without photographing it or taking a sample.
@harrietharlow9929
@harrietharlow9929 Жыл бұрын
Amazing. isn't it? The initial police work was really shoddy. All they needed was some luminol and a black light. The luminol will shine a bright blue if blood is present. Any first-year student in law enforcement should know that.

Well, good. Now he ended up where he thought he put Shirley’s car - with his own kind. This kind of killer will never get away with his crime. These people are so incapable of understanding true, good relationships with other people (let alone actually having one) that they don’t plan for the intense reaction when their victim goes missing. They are completely unprepared for the level of connection, admiration, liking, respect and loyalty other people feel for the victim. They are completely unprepared for the level of shock and concern shown at the disappearance and taken by surprise at how determined people are to never give up and continue to search for answers. They always seem to think that they will earn the sympathetic attention of others and everyone will forget when neither of these things is true.
@harrietharlow9929
@harrietharlow9929 Жыл бұрын
Agree 100%. Just because someone has died (or has been killed) friends do not forget the victim. My Godson was not only my godson but a dear friend as well. He died over 11 years ago (natural causes), and I still miss him a great deal. After my ex-husband and I divorced (amiable divorce), we remained very good friends until he died (again, natural causes). He died almost 40 years ago and I still miss being able to talk with him. Shirley sounds like a wonderful woman and officer, with a great career ahead of her. I feel badly for her, both because she was murdered, and because she never got to realise her full potential.
