@@lytebluestudios tbf, it could be reasoned that seeing Diana made Superman slip for like a second. IIRC the same happened to Barry when he got lassoed. It's not to say they could be saved sadly since the game straight up kills them and they do murder a lot of guys, but it would have been nice if that was meant to show they were still in there somewhere, which sadly wasn't quite the case.

Complaints about the game aside, this is a genuinely, extremely well directed cutscene. That particular shot of wonder woman kneeling next to lantern's corpse as the squad surrounds her and the music gets more eary is so fucking good to portray how she's on the verge of loosing hope of getting her friends back.

I do have to admit, through out this games many (and I mean MANY) flaws, one of the few good things that came from this was the facial animations. The moment when Harley realized it was Superman, amazing.

Exactly. The cutscene work is comparable to God of War, which means this would've cost a fortune for em to make. As such, they need to cut corners. (Copy-paste boss Final battle, Minimal to no cutscene boss defeats, SIMPLE boss fight concept Batman, Still-shots.)

I notice Diana & Supes had few moments of prolonged intimate eye contact in this, all things considered. It is canon even while Supes is with Lois, Diana had/has feelings for him still. No surprise there, he's literally the antithesis of what the Amazons propagandize their daughters to think all men are. The beat for beat shining example of a badass gentleman, when he isn't brainwashed.

@@patrickwillis13 the story is hard, is good, people are only complaining because their heroes are getting killed off. So they get hype when heroes have the script on their side but when you take it away and give it to the villains, suddenly is trash. I think the biggest problem this game has, it’s the player base

@@emilianop.colome735 no dude. The coping and strawmanning is crazy of this comment. The problem isn't that their heroes are dying the problem is that their deaths are meaningless and makes no sense. The writers aren't even trying to be creative. WW and brainiac is the most egregious of them all. The writers went out of their way to kill them off. Didn't who or how. The only one that's slightly plausible is Superman. But even then its lame and super anticlimactic. And they picked the most street level characters to do it.

@@patrickwillis13 that’s kind of the point of the game? The suicide squad are a bunch of losers, and they killed the justice league somehow. How many characters have died in the way here’s guys are doing it and nobody complains. I think it depends on who’s interested in the game and who wants to criticize it

Only thing that would forced me to love this game it's sexual scene between Wonder Woman and Superman, without it not a chance in hell for me to pardon them.
