Darth Pancake Studios no, batman in this situation no matter what version would not have brought kryptonite. it’s clear throughout this film and the end of bvs the guilt bruce carries for playing a direct role in clark’s death, going so far as to blame himself for it. for bruce to bring the very weapon which got clark killed before his eyes, the weapon he created with the intent to kill clark before it all changed, would erase all of bruce’s guilt and regret about what happened with doomsday in the first place. bruce clearly didn’t want to hurt clark any more, he didn’t even attempt to move out of clark’s way when he saw him approaching nor did he shield himself when its clear he knows how to beat superman.

I must bring up: Amy Adams does such a great job here, conveying how, as Lois walks up to him, she's at once overjoyed to see him alive...and deeply hurt to see him doing this. And she looks positively angelic, to boot. Her tears and embrace could soften the hardest of hearts. And at 3:52...they do.

This scene showed us just how strong Superman truly is, i've always preffered him more when he is either brainwashed or when he's evil as he doesn't hold anything back and really showed just how powerful he truly is by taking on the entire Justice League on his own. What would have made this even more badass if he was wearing the black suit with longer hair and a full beard, i think his return from the dead would have been quite possibly the biggest moment ever in the DCEU.
