Had every RS4 since the B7 , oil runs really hot 120 isn’t unusual , bedding the brakes only takes 3-4 sharp stops from 60 and they’re done 👍 Typical under steer 😂😂😂 The box you found is a power supply to a radar detector

The Responder LE depending on what model is a remote start module. There's a video on KZbin on how to pair the transmitter but you need the keyfob.

A fast road setup would be good to do so you get from front camber on the go to help turn in at speed when the cars all loaded up on the front. Looks fun though lads, well gel 😜👍🏻

FYI.... Neg Camber won't improve turn in even when loaded up. Toe out Will result in improved turn in.

To bed in brakes all you need to do is brake from 70mph to 10, nice and steady like your braking for the length of your average motorway exit slip road. Do that a couple of times without making them red hot, and your done. Its the tyres! Get some rubber ones and it will be faster. Those maybe semi slicks, but they are plastic. 🤣🤣

Someone might correct me here but I thought that new disc + pads required no bedding in due to them being both engineered flat surfaces . New pads on old discs sure but I don’t believe it’s required if both disc and pad are new . Good video lads 👍

@@EVILGT I have a b7 rs4 nothing comes close to the sound they make at 8500 rpm 👌 might not be fast by todays standards but the sense of theatre is one which is hard to beat

If the discs and pads are brand new then they only, usually require around 25 miles of normal driving to ‘bed in’ to normal everyday use. If they’re being used for more spirited driving then you must get better pads and get some heat cycles through them to allow optimum stopping power, each car and set of brakes are different so there is no hard and fast rule to answer this question.
