SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS * rotate the walls of the bunker chute if you are more concern about soft-side raids coming from the door-raid path * upgrade the outer ring of foundations to sheet metal to prevent raiders picking out a stone foundation and raiding through foundations * upgrade the second-floor walls behind the chute and in front of the furnaces to sheet metal
@brendaddyrust77854 жыл бұрын
Not to be that guy but look at my floor stacking tutorial on my channel you can get a more tight and consistent floor stack oh and btw one big flaw in your design for the starter into main is that if the floor stack is too tight you have to place the top floor first otherwise it won't let you place it plus with floor stacking you can create a double bunker
@justi894 жыл бұрын
I'd consider moving the electricity from the floating wall in the bunker- if raiders rocket down the bunker, the floating wall will get destroyed in the process- thus turning off the turret inside bunker/core. Otherwise- great as always :)
@EvilWurst4 жыл бұрын
@@brendaddyrust7785 yes, good approach you are proposing. How well does it work on a non-flat map with grass & clutter? Regarding the height: I was aware of that "flaw", hence, I tell viewers to test whether they can place the floor tiles :)
@TheLynxBuildsUnseen4.24 жыл бұрын
Think of this but with a clan base something 6 story's high would be 12 layers of floors . Does this also work for stacking walls? or doors? to be double thick both side and top ?.

DO NOT put electrics on the bunker wall, if they blow through bunker seal it'll destroy the wall + electrics and auto turret won't help

At this point you're an artist. Such a fantastic and well thought-out design. I do get a bit confused sometimes though trying to follow instructions, often lose track of the orientation if I'm following on a build server, and sometimes the upgrades happen too fast. Needless to say, this base is great and does and really throws raiders off, and it wasn't too difficult to rebuild after the raid. The only thing that I find to be difficult with this base design is the initial placement of the triangle foundations because it's hard to get the gap between the two roofs as small as possible. I tried many times and couldn't get the timing right so my one triangle foundation was just too high above the other. That and ladder hatches are hard to find.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the base! I am delighted to hear that it held the raiders off!

Hey Wurst, I love the base but whenever I try to place the foundations I can't put both the walls next to each other on top of the foundations at is says "Too close too another building". When I try to counter this by putting the foundations not as close it leaves that tiny gap. Any fixes? Also If I can't get it to work Is the base still strong without the floor stacking if I upgrade the roof to metal?
@RulaNovelis4 жыл бұрын
You have to put it as close as you can. Floor stacking requires manually perfectly placing foundations at a different height. Keep trying and practicing.

Rula is right. The foundation placement needs to be perfect Thanks Rula for helping out.

@@samuukxs1417 It works in the wild. This is my second build of this base. Just finished it today.

If you try this method on a hill you may experience that it doesnt stack properly, place a foundation to stand on to be completely level, so that the stack works!
