AtGames sent me the ADDAMS FAMILY pinball plus 3 game packs to review, but no money changed hands, I do not (and have not) work for AtGames, and no promises were made as the what I would say. They don't get a preview copy of the video; you guys get to see it first. My opinions are my own, and are unbiased as I can make them, but as always do your research and don't just take my word for it.

You guys snagging these tables or thinking about upgrading to the 4KP because of them?

I think the 4k machine is worth it, but mainly for reasons other than it being 4k. The feedback from the surround sound system, Zen tables, the larger back box and the artwork on the machine are better reasons to upgrade in my opinion.

Yeah, the total effect is one that puts it light year's ahead of the HD ALP or A1up vpins. The new games are straight up fun on this machine... but those 4K graphics don't hurt!

Great review as usual. I thought I was the only person that thought they should have added more rolling effects to the score board on those old EM tables like Jacks Open.

Thanks Fernando! Unlike the play fields, which were obviously upgraded from scratch - I think they simply reused the same exact back glasses from the HD ALP. I mean it's OK, but hopefully they get a re-fresh on the next wave of firmware updates, at least the EM games.

The Gottlieb tables look flat on the og ALP. Like level differences aren't distinctive. Zac tables had that feel. Looking at a video the Gottlieb look like they have that here. But I'm still waiting in case Twilight Zone machine happens and a lower price point.

The plastics and ramps look miles better on these 4K versions. Yeah, from here on out it's new Zen tables... which I can't wait to see.

I bought the 4k alp for the love of these emp games.. I really really hope we get more, great seeing my name on your video on Centigrade 37 im #9 reminds me need to get to basement and get #1 spot back...

Being able to chase in smaller community is what makes machines feel like in a real arcade.. We just need more EM tables.. @@evilgeniusentertainment

Hi the graphic improvements you suggested for the Jacks Open Backglass is incorrect in such that the scoring display is exactly like the Original. No separation lines etc. It is exactly the same. Not commenting on resolution. I leave that up to you. Thanks for the good work

Great Video! I just got the Gottlieb tables on my Legends 4k Snoopy machine and I have noticed that sometimes when booting up the Gottlieb tables, there is an audio glitch and you get a loud buzzing sound from the speakers. I have to exit out of the table and reboot it and it usually fixes the issue. This is only happening on the Gottlieb tables. Have you hit this issue at all? Thanks! Michael

The high scores on the backglass is cool. Are those local or online scores that show on the backglass. I’m in Canada and it’s super expensive so I think in a year or 2 the price will drop and the issues or most issues will be fixed by then.

It's funny, because I really hadn't thought about that until I was editing this episode when I thought the exact same thing! I'll have to double check, but I think it's both local and on-line scores.

Jamie - I don't know how much they listen to me, but what the heck, it's worth a shot! The branded ball isn't horrible, but it is clear difference between these Gottlieb tables and every other pin for the 4KP. And yeah, it something we should be able to change in every table at some point - who doesn't ant shinny balls? ;)

I bought one of these packs and sometimes when I start up a board the speakers put out static that doesn't end until I leave the game. On the other hand, I bought Tatio tables and they've been updating them, so they do keep making improvements.

I haven't had any static issues as of yet... and hopefully never! These tables do not need any kind of gigantic improvements, but small ones here and there would be nice down the line.

Bad rom sound is something that doesn't get addressed enough in the community. Jokerz! for example. Super fun. Visually great. But it sounds so bad on my system that I either mute it, or just skip playing it.

Yeah, you can't pretend it's not there. I think we tend to accept it more for VPX/FP versions b/c they are fan-created. But it's clear that the same (or very similar) ROM is being using across all formats for games like HAUNTED HOUSE. I'm not even sure it's possible to get a better ROM for those older 80's/90's games.

60hz to 120 is huge in pinball, you really gotta see it to believe it.

Davy - oh, I run 120 on my DIY pin. It is a nice thing, but it is not a make-or-break feature, at least for me. But others differ with me, placing 120 fps as one of the most important features. Personally, I had a very good gaming experience with these Gottlieb tables (even at 60fps).

The sound is so good on my hd. Has the buystuffarcade upgrade. Using it to play non 4k games and the coinops games. Have not pulled the trigger on 4k gottlieb. Waiting for new tables. Twilight zone should be good i hope. Not willing to part with the hd so trying to keep different games on each. The 4k doesnt support coinops.

There's a strong argument to keep what you have and get the 4KP, at least if you're interested in those Zen games. I never used coinops on the ALP, so that was never an issue for me, but yeah it could be a massive thing depending on your use. Nothing wrong in waiting to see what shakes out (well, other then fighting FOMO is hard!)

In your opinion who has better pinball physics? Gottlieb tables or Zaccaria tables? I want to hear your opinion because you have a real pinball machine

I'd say Gottlieb & Zen physics are very close to each other, and Zac/MP physics just a smidge worse. They're all pretty close though. I'd say you can do more flipper tricks like catching the ball w/Gottlieb. Put another way - I think the physics are pretty darn good actually; basically about the same as Future Pinball's latest. VPX still has the over-all best IMO.

Hey no problem! It is interesting how all of the various sets of physics are very close, but no 2 exactly the same. Which is a bit like playing in the real world, where torn up play fields and dinged up balls can affect play. Playing DEATH STAR ASSAULT right now and those FP physics are just enough different to keep you on your toes!

Unfortunately the ball still doesn't look like a real pinball and seems floaty like before. It's better, I guess but I doubt I would play them any more than I did before. Graphically yes, it looks better but the physics still seem off and that's what really draws you in when playing vp

At full price they are not worth it. I have them on the HD and 4KP. I got them for #12.50 a pack so 50 bucks for 22 tables then they credited me 20 off so 30 bucks for 22 tables. I'd say buy them on a dip of 33 to 50 percent off during a NOD sale.

$ 25 is def premium pricing. There's actually a pretty big difference between charging say like $20 for 6 games vs $25 for 5. I mean they just came out, so it's not heinous, but I do think $20 is probably the sweet spot for the non-sale price.

I wouldn’t buy them, bad sound and flat playfield and flying balls instead of rolling, same with zen adam family and peanuts but Thanks for the add flipper lag to zen games, really the only tables to buy are zaccaria tables period.

I doubt it's gonna make it to Sam's Club as it's way over what the Average Joe can afford.
