Not even, Armada played at Beast3, I mean he didn't enter but he still played a ton with everyone especially Mango. He also practiced with Android for Evo. He knew he was going from the start.

Easily the best set of evo. I've watched this like at least 10 times and the excitement just keeps building every time. Only other set i think that could compare is winners finals hbox vs wobbles because of that godlike wobbling set up and his so-po play. I really didn't think evo could top apex but WOW was i wrong.

It's not like PP hasn't taken sets off of Armada before his retirement (Apex, Smashers Reunion (which was PAL) and Pound V).

You're wrong. Armada played less than 5 games between apex and when he started to train for evo, and after that he only trained for 2-3 weeks.

the other "not-boring" stages are not nearly as fun as you may think lol anyway, most stages are banned because they promote degenerative strategies (run-away camping, hold-advantageous-position-indefinitely camping, etc.) or are just super duper imbalanced really though, the wacky stages are really not as fun as someone would think. occasionally refreshing, but awfully boring more than once in a blue moon.

Yeah and those matches with Mango was basically everything I played with Peach in those 6 months (until the thread came up). 3-4 games except for that. So if you don't know what you are talking about it's better to not say anything about the case. Good shit to PP though =D

USA chant is so lame, is it really so bad if someone NOT from the USA does well in one of your tournaments? Cheering for a player is fine, even cheering agaisnt a player is arguably better than cheering for your country when only 1% of people will be from europe, it's hardly like a world championship where theres loads of different countries competing against each other- it makes way more sense then, like at the world cup or something... nothing wrong with having pride in your country. This however isn't a competition between countries; I just don't see why it can't be about the players rather than - "I don't care who wins, as long as they're MURICAN".
