Why diesel trucks use iron blocks and head, stoutness. No different than a weak thrush no girdle crank walking. For what they are Honda produces a peppy high strung engine that is impressive in its own right. An aficionado to motorsports all manufacturers bring something to the table.

yea but electric is just way better, its not even a competition really, the efficiency is like 3 times better, you cant beat that. this are still the early days of ev, there is much, much more to come. while combustion is pretty much at its peak. i love the evo and the plaid, they are both like playing playstation :()

@@Matt.e_Black please do your research- find the plaid 100-200 times and compare with gasoline cars with the same 1000hp. the weight on the plaid is helped by the fact it has 1050 lbs of torque.. the evo above would have around 700lbs ft so over 30% less and still gapped it WHILE HAVING TO CHANGE 5 GEARS and having to deal with lag etc where as the electric is instant power. So yes the weight on the plaid is a holiday vs all the struggles of a gasoline car and still it lost.. to save u time a plaid does 0-100 in 1.9-2 seconds?? The evo above will do around 2.5-2.8.. that evo does 100-200 in mid 3s.. the plaid does it in 3.9 so you tell me who hasnt kept there momentum the whole way.. its fact that in those times the plaid slowed down somewhere and we both know it wasnt at the beginning because at the beginning a plaid is lightening! so just like all electric vehicles its the top end it lost because to have a half a second lead at the beginning means you slowed down somewhere later to be over taken to get the slower 100-200 if you understand, you cant argue with numbers.. at top end the plaid is better then other electric vehicles il give you that but still loses top end power due to its nature of being electric, i have logs on my draggy from es1000 twin turbo r8 doing 100-200 in 3.33 seconds to give you an idea which would make the plaid look like its in reverse.

@@brucewayne2397 ya I own one so no research needed my Plaid runs 60-130 in mid 4’s and 100-150 in mid 4’s. This car is NOT like most EVs that truly have no top end, like the old Model S Performance; 10 seconds 60-130 and yet it ran 10.5’s in the 1/4 mile, all because the 330 time was much quicker pace then the rest of the 1/4 Plaid runs 1/4 ET and trap speed right on par with ICE running the same ETs. The old S Performance ran mid 10s but the trap speed was on par with an ICE running 11s

@@Matt.e_Black yes 60-130 in mid 4's would bang on be in the 3.9 quoted 100-200 the plaid is noted as, as i said the plaid is very different to other electric cars who literally after 100 mph fall off a cliff, the plaid keeps pushing BUT there is a small drop especially against similar power ice which at the lower end speeds especially 0-60+ the plaid munches pretty much all of them on that get initial get away.. however after that is when these ice come back.. half mile data shows a fairer comparison i believe personally, i have another log of an rs3 with 1015 hp doing 100-150 in 3.64 seconds as a comparison. What's even crazier is its 60-130 times is also 3.6 seconds, half mile is 13.9 seconds and 1/4 mile in 8.88 @162 mph, these are all verified logs on the leader board, he doesnt have a 0-60 log but i guarantee the plaid eats this rs3 up to 60 as id imagine this rs3 to be around the 2.5 seconds..but after that initial burst of 60 this rs3 would start gaining and by 90-100 it would be role reversal then then after that you would see the ice pull away as per the log numbers show it would.

Fun Fact: Mitsubishi was paid by multiple car companies to discontinue the evolution platform for several years which is why they brought out the Evo X. They could no longer use the 4g63 and utilize a new engine build to not go against their contract
