+nh skiier Depends, if you're looking at the WRC Subaru beat them in 95-97, 99-00, 02-05 and Mitsubishi beat Subaru in 98 and 01 though the Evo's are most of the time faster on the track.

I mean it's all up to who's driving. Tommi Makinen won the drivers title 4 years in a row for Mitsubishi. There's still more successful manufacturer's than Mitsubishi and Subaru in wrc but yeah aside from being awesome on dirt, evos do really well in things like hill climbs and on tracks

Evos are AWD without snowmode, they drive fine in the snow without it considering it wasn't even in a evo till the Evo 7. It just changes the Active Center Differential to behave differently in snow, you know a advanced technology that Slowbaru's don't have.@@shatl_bar_king

I drive my Evo in Canadian winters and it goes through anything with snow tires on of course. The computer works amazing and if you want to drift with the awc off it is extremely well balanced and controlled. Not knocking the subies but just speaking from my own experiences.

Maria Auditore wrong. Top Gear USA is nothing like the English Top Gear. This is all scripted. In order for him to drive the way he is driving (legally), the roads have to be closed. The parts where he is in traffic, he is acting, the parts where he is driving awesome, the roads are closed and then the pieced the footage together. Did they really have a camera in the bus that he passed?? doubt it, they got that shot later. As for the last shot, the car cannot dry off that quick. Also notice the weather. It is very cloudy when he is driving in the snow, then when it cuts to the dry car, it is very sunny outside. Scripted bs. Top Gear USA sucks. Great car, maybe great driver too, but dramatized bs.

That’s the original wing design for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. This wing was also used on the Lancer GTS models. After 2008 the wing was replaced for a taller one on the Evolution models.
