Brilliant video. Wanted to give a feedback on one things though. It seem to me like there is a slight flaw in the way you explain how Giraffes with shorter neck died out in an island or how taller humans died out in the Rudolf island. It’s more like the tall genes died out from the gene pool in longer term due to the reduced selection of those individuals in that particular environment in longer term.

It actually depends on the circumstances we might end up in. For eg, in the case of an army recruitments of different nations around the world, the officials use these terms often, coz its really tough for a person physically and mentally to break into their teams if they are not strong enough(physically and mentally), so in examples like that, its about strength.. That tagline term fits in perfectly. Also there's a TV program man vs wild(hosted by bear grills) which is about surviving in extreme places. He often use this survival of the fittest tag there too, which makes sense becoz a weak mentally and physical person won't escape from those places. So the term survival of the fittest actually depends on the circumstances, can't really cancel out the tagline just like that.

Males evolved to be physically stronger than females. Stronger males could overpower other males and mate with the females. As stronger males could reproduce, strength underwent natural selection in case of males. While strength played no role in the survival or reproduction of females. Later, when agriculture and settlement started, this strength could be used for other useful purposes involved in agriculture, where men could perform better than women due to this evolutionarily advantage. This lead to the formation of a patriarchal society. Now, strength plays little role in the development of a society, still it remains patriarchal😌

Yes. Starting from the onset of the invention of agriculture, most work demanded physical strength. That's the reason why gender roles exist in the current form. But in the modern society, strength isn't a necessary requirement for many many jobs. But the age old gender roles and patriarchy still exists

@arun rr biologically, females are the choosers. males compete among themselves to mate with the female. males don't use their strength to overpower females, they only overpower other males. biologically, society should be female-centric, where many men compete for a female. only because humans had figured out other ways to use their strength(like agriculture), our society became patriarchal. this is what I think.
