Baymax might actually translate to a costumed character better than any other character ever. Baymax is basically a costumed character in the movie. He looks like a guy in an inflatable suit. No other character looks and functions almost exactly like they do onscreen (a real woman doesn't look like animated Elsa and Winnie the Pooh doesn't talk in the parks like he does onscreen), but Baymax basically does!

I worked at Disneyland when Baymax was in the space formally known as starcade. Tomorrowland was my homeland when I worked in the parks as a retail castmember. It brought me so much joy when baymax did his little sideways shuffle in and out of the doorway. Never failed to make me giggle.

To this day meeting Baymax was one of my favorite moments at a Disney park. We did a fist bump and everything, and when I gave him a hug I could hear the fan keeping him inflated whirring around in there. Thanks Dan!

Kingdom Hearts is one of those sagas where you have to pay CLOSE attention to every single little detail in every (every) game if you want to maybe try to understand what's going on and, even then, you'll probably need to watch an 8-hour video explaining how everything's linked. First of all: Didn't expect the Disney CEO Sass, but it's greatly appreciated. Secondly: The Baymax costume is so cool, but what's up with the unintended theme of putting Big Hero 6 characters on tiny parade floats? Like the Yokai float is silly, but imagine being the Baymax actor trying to get on and off the first float with the stairs! Like I'm convinced they used a little crane for that one.

Meeting a Japanese character in the parks was top three moments for me visiting with my family! I happened to visit when they had the face character Hiro and his general Japanese and immediately recognizing my families names were Japanese was such a meaningful moment for us all.

Finally got to meet Baymax in 2018, since he’s a healthcare companion I had to tell him about how I overcame depression, he said all I needed was a trip to Disney World (it was my first visit) and then literally a year later, they tear it down!

I’ll never forget meeting Baymax and Hiro on my birthday. It was the very last day of the Meet n Greet in Tomorrowland. I wore my Baymax beanie and had my mini Baymax plushie. Give him a first bunk and a hug was so magical.

It never made any sense to me that Hiro and Lilo are masked characters but especially knowing at one point Hiro was a face character and he looked good. The hair needed some work but it was good for what it was. People wanna talk to these characters, especially Lilo. I understand Stitch and Baymax being costumed but I cannot fathom a good reason for their human counterparts to be masked. Thanks for covering all aspects of Big Hero Six today! Greatly appreciate seeing this movie get some love!

I have that Baymax sipper. The movie is one of my favorites, so of course I had to have it lol. I'm glad I met Hiro and Baymax back in 2014 before they pretty much stopped having Hiro, he was a lot of fun and since I had a Mega Man shirt on he asked me if I was also a roboticist. And of course I gave Baymax a fist bump and hugged them both. Another random memory: after I met Hiro and Baymax, I met Aladdin and Jasmine and as they were flipping through my autograph book, Jasmine said excitedly "you've met our newest friend, too" and for some reason, that makes me smile to remember

The best character meet we ever did was in 2014 at HS, with Baymax and Hiro. The dude playing Hiro was amazing. On his way out for his break, he kissed his hand, then jumped up, and touched a picture of Tadashi that was on the set. I was also in a chair that trip, and Baymax tried to heal me

i always forget how insanely infectious your energy is--insane that i am not streaming your entire catalogue of web-based CINEMA 24/7/365. also i have to say--and i know the bar here is crazy low--i was SO excited to hear you actually address yokai by his official name! if i have to hear one more parks vlogger call him "the bad guy from baymax" or "guy in the mask" i think i am going to explode. we love to see a man do his research! i've met baymax twice--in 2015 at his original setup with Adult Man In A Wig hiro, and then again in 2019 at epcot character spot (rip). both times were super fun, and those inflatable hugs are unforgettable!

I got to meet Baymax during my first trip to WDW in 2016. I was so excited to meet him that when I went to give him a hug I almost knocked him over. I was so embarrassed but the performer handled it well and it’s still one of my favorite character interactions to this day. 😊

It's quite impressive how well Baymax translated from movie to park costume character, and the fact he can blink as well. The skin trousers Hiro with the creepy mask face on the other hand, that was a bad idea. A history of Disney characters in Kingdom Hearts games would be great to watch, loved playing the 1st and 2nd on PS2 when it released and still have no idea how the story works or how everything is connected.

I love Big Hero 6, so much I imagine the Big Hero 6 guys with a new character called Frankie Hermes as a band called Queens (as a tribute to Spider-Man being from there) that would play Queen's music. Hiro would be on lead guitar/piano on certain songs, Frankie on lead vocals, piano and tambourine, Fred on drums/percussion and Wasabi on bass guitar and a backing keyboard player. I'm neutral on BH6 the series and can't wait for BAYMAX.

Man I remember going to meet Hiro and Baymax with my siblings when I movie first came out. We rushed to Baymax to give him a hug and it was great, like hugging a big balloon. After the fact, I almost felt bad for Hiro cause we pretty much ignored him.

Baymax gave me one of if not my most memorable meet and greet experience along with being followed out of the room by Sully and arm wrestling Buzz (yes those actually happened and I loved it), last time I met him, he started pointing at my pockets and a cast member told me he was asking for a selfie with me, I’ve still got the photo on my phone and it’s been three years since that

There's footage from Baymax's US parks premiere where they'd end some of his appearances by having him deflate in front of everyone (!) and act sluggish, and Hiro panicking, excusing the two of them, and hurrying to get Baymax backstage.
