I truly, honestly, and/or hope without being too naïve or optimistic that the first trailer they had for the initial reveal of Bayonetta 3 will make an appearance in the game to show who Bayonetta was fighting as well as the reason for their conflict to start with before Bayonetta lost to that mysterious figure and ended up cruelly, violently, and horribly, bisected in the end.

I actually hate her fused Madama form, too brightly colored, the weird afro hair doesn't even remotely fit for Madama Butterfly, and it doesn't really bring the feel of a demon summoning witch. Now I LOVE the new look for Madama Butterfly, she looks like she got a really -wicked- (Yes, I'm referring to Wicked Weaves so pun indented.) wardrobe upgrade.

I haven't played the games myself (I am interested), but my first thought was that Viola was somehow maybe Bayonetta's and/or Luka's kid. Only piece of evidence I have is the fact that her summon is called "Cheshire" I think, which is something Bayos calls Luka alot in Bayonetta 1 i think

Viola es huerfana y fue adoptada por un profesor robotico. Este le ayuda a viajar al pasado para evitar que sus padres sean asesinados por demonios y para esto le pide que busque a Bayonetta para que la ayude. En el presente una horda de demonios mutados esta atacando la ciudad y bayonetta no puede con la situacion. Asi que decide comprometer mas su alma con los demonios con los que tiene contrato. Es por esto que puede adquirir la forma de estos. Al encontrarse Viola con Bayonetta se descubre que Viola trajo a estos demonios del futuro. Es por esta razon que no desea ayudarla. Entonces Bayoneta pierde el control de sus poderes y es poseida por estos demonios. Entonces se revela que el antagonista del juego es el profesor que cuido de Viola. En realidad todos los demonios son clones de Viola. La razon de por que Viola es huerfana es que cuando Bayonetta perdio el control fue ella la mato tras ver como Bayonetta asesinaba a Luka. Para evitar esto Viola entrena sus poderes dormidos de bruja. Ella solo sabe hacer uso de sus artes marciales y su poder hacer lento el tiempo pero no sabe hacer hechizos ni invocaciones. El juego es como una mezcla entre Devil may cry 5 y Dragon ball:la saga del tiempo de Cell.

Viola is an orphan and was adopted by a robotic scientist. He helps her travel to the past to prevent his parents being killed by demons and for this reason he asks her to look for Bayonetta and asking help for her. In the present, a horde of mutated demons is attacking the city and Bayonetta can't handle the situation. So She decides to further commit his soul to the demons with whom she has a contract. This is why she can acquire the form of these demons. When Viola meets Bayonetta It's reveled that Viola brought these demons from the future. It is for this reason that she does not wish to help her. Then Bayonetta loses control of her powers and is possessed by these demons. It is then revealed that the game's antagonist is the scientist who raised Viola. Actually all the demons are clones of Viola. The reason why Viola is an orphan is that when Bayonetta lost control she was killed by Viola after seeing how Bayonetta killed Luka. To prevent this, Viola trains with Jeanne's help to wake up her sleeping witch powers. She just knows use martial arts and her power to slow down time, but she doesn't know how to cast spells or invocations. The game is like a mix between Devil may cry 5 and Dragon ball: Cell time saga.

Honestly I really don't like Viola, she looks like some weird Cyberpunk character, she comes off as whinny and complaining a lot, and she just... Doesn't fit. I get, it Bayo 3 CLEARLY isn't like any Bayo game, but even Viola seems EXTREMELY out of place here.
