I'll never forget the fun I had playing multiplayer with my friends in this game in high school.... our monitors didn't face the instructor and my friends would have death matches in computer lab class all the time. This was like 2000-01 maybe--- right when GTA 3 came out, but this was still way more fun.

The difference between 1997 and 2001 is crazy . And then from 2001 until now we haven’t really seen that much of a leap. We went from 2d to 3d gaming in like 4-6 years and then it seems now games get slightly better graphics but by now we should have had games that look 100% realistic and full blown virtual gaming . Seems the tech is lagging. I’ve heard since they’re making money off what’s already out there today, companies will just make small increases in tech because it costs money to create new stuff and it’s very risky to make bigger jumps . Playing it safe is smaller jumps in tech advancement I think that’s the problem
