@@Lollburger88 I think the graphics of nfs hot pursuit 2 are really good for it's time. The PS2 version is better than the version released for PC,Xbox and Gamecube. Black box's version is way better than the actual EA one. It has better maps, better ambientation and songs. I recommend giving it a try. It's pretty fun. The physics aren't really that good but they are enjoyable. The cops are harder to defeat than Most Wanted ones. They don't get destroyed easily (only when they crash onto a wall) and their car feels to have the same mass as yours. Overall, I think it is a very fun game, it gives you the feeling of speed and action. The only downside is the limited amount of maps. But excluding that, I just love it. Still completing the races.

@@slavsublime4702 It's based on the TV show World's Wildest Police Videos, it is about footage caputred by police, news agencys, and people just to show us the stark reality that criminals have declared you and everyone else the enemy. When it was on, it was once kniwn as World's Scariest Police Chases before changing it's name, and the title wasn't lying, those police chases actually shock many people, even with the disclaimer. The show lasted from 1998 to 2001, that is 4 seasons of the show, in 2012 it was reborn as a 1 season show by the same name of World's Wildest Police Videos, both of the shows were hosted by John Bunnell, who was once part of the police before becoming sherrif. If you are familier with the show COPS, you may have seen him before, as there was a episode of the show where the police force that John was in was dealing with a house full of marijuana. The video game on the other hand came out in 2001 for the Playstation and.... that's about it. There were plans of a PS2, Xbox, Dreamcast, and PC ports of the game, but thry were cancelled, and a sequel was planned too, but that was also scrapped, this was basically the only other piece of media that John Bunnel was involved witt, but if the sequel wasn't canned, it would of been his second narration role for the game.

So it had a lousy EGA videocard in it with the basic 32 colors or something, later a VGA and then Super VGA, whining every day helps! . But the real racegames for me (other than maybe those early f1 games, Grand Prix Circuit, it was pretty hard with your tires constantly overheating.....the real racing game I spend hundreds of hours I guess, is Test Drive, I looked it up and it['s from 1987, so I probably had it a year later, copied from friends ;) Kings-, Police-, Castle- & Space--Quest type of games already looked better, Secret of Monkey Island, Larry, Winter Challenge (Olympics) and California Games as well but Test Drive II looked too much Test Drive I, to my liking. Thats because you can only do so much for something to look photo realistic In the 90s the visuals were so bad that they had so much to improve on Right now honestly there is a thin line between actual real life and and these games on a visual perspective so most of the games just improve on the physics and gameplay

Yeah 3D gaming transitioning happened in the mid-1990s, but it still took until the mid-late 2000s for it to look smooth and less blocky/blurred/pixelated. You can see in late 90s & early 00s games, graphics were very basic and lacked detail.

I imagine it will be very minor upgrades since what we have now is already so photorealistic that the changes are barely noticeable as we go through each year. The curve is an exponential one - Throughout the 90s and 2000s each game seemed a massive improvement over its predecessor (GTA SA to 4 for example), then kind of stagnated in 2010s (GTA 4 to 5 wasn't as big a leap as SA to 4) so now even a small graphics improvement requires a lot more processing power and more powerful GPU
