I played the games the complete opposite way, so I didn’t get all the cool twists and turns, but I skipped every cutscene my first play through so replaying them the right way and seeing the story unfold was just as satisfying

I don't remember the exact date, but Mafia II is cannon, and when You complete it, You can read the "family diary". There, says that Joe Barbaro was born somewhere in the 1920's, and Mafia takes place in 1930, wich means joe would be around 2-10 there.

It's kinda funny how when I was younger I didn't like mafia 2 because of the 2 main character who killed tommy, even now I don't like the 2 main character of mafia 2 because of them killing Tommy but the game is decent... I will miss Tommy, he was a true legend
