Just Cause 2 literally to this day looks one of the most visually appealing game there ever was. I've had hours upon hours of fun on the multiplayer mod with mates in that game! By far the best one in the franchise! The vastness of the map, the gameplay, the vibrant and dynamic environments....It's hard to believe the game is this old and still kicks ass!

Also just cause 3 overall is better than just cause 4 hands down. If they kept the same engine and colorfulness of 3 I would have loved 4 but they went in a dark and serious direction. I truly think Just Cause 2 has the most beautiful and Varied Map in the series. You have Tropical Jungles,Beautiful Beaches with water going miles,Beautiful SkySkrapers creating a bustling Metropolis,Snowy Mountain Tops,Volcanos,Deserts with Landing Strips,Oil Refinery Hubs in the water,and Beautiful islands covered in Oil Tanks. Also the size of the Map is so underrated and beautiful.

I honestly always thought when I used to play Just Cause 2 back in like 2011 that it had great graphics, looking at 3:07, my opinion hasn't changed. The game for some reason (in my opinion) felt a lot more natural and the colours/gameplay/smoothness were great. I loved how you could assassinate presidents and take over settlements as side missions, overall JC2 is my favourite game out of the series.

I remember just exploring random beaches and towns/cities. This game was incredible back then. I still think it looks uniquely beautiful, much better than the other three games. It has a unique early 2000’s sorta charm to it. I think it’s a shame that modern gamers will never get to experience certain games that were made back then the same we way we did. I can understand it though, as I was too young to experience Morrowind when it released and I think that game looks terrible .. so yeah can definitely understand it to a degree.

The biggest deal is the gameplay system having much kind of downgrade. Just Cause without Post Liberation style and chaos point is very pointless. Sure they added new feature like advancing rebels to control region with point in charge but i think releasing a flag in Medici is way more better. Also JC 4 water is very suck and massive downgrade without any beautiful vegetation.

Jc2 is my all time fav probably my favorite game of all time. I grew up with it and i love the maps and vehicles. The air vehicles like the helicopters are my absolute go-tos for ripping bases apart. Easter eggs and Dlcs are great too.

Because it isn't flat. Just cause 3 is the only game out of the 4 that has physical waves that makes your boat jump when you're sailing at high speed. In my opinion, just cause 3 has the best water and it looks amazing underwater aswell.

For all of you JC4 fans: The environment is rich, visuals are impressive and many controls are refined. For all of you JC3 fans: I didnt put down the game as soon as I completed it due to getting extremely bored, it runs about 80% faster than JC4 and I have over 300 hours of pure JC3 and it was worth every dollar spent.

Just Cause 2 really started to flesh the game out, the only thing I didn't like in that one was Rico's personality, he seemed much more a cold blooded killer than the destructive "anti hero" he became later. In 3 he was much better and had more humor which fit the somewhat more lighthearted tone of the game. In 4 he seems to be at a really good balance, he has some humor but is very focused and serious on his target, again fitting the more serious tone of JC4.

JC4 had seemingly the angriest Rico, and a very serious one. JC3 had (IMO) the best VA for an older Rico, and he was a lot more funnier. JC4 had a diverse map, but if you ask me, I loved the history of Medici (mostly the Night of the Bonfires) more then Solís' history.

Then my friend you should do your homework if you like you could start with Just Cause 2 that is probably the most not arguably biggest map in the whole series but also if you get the PC version you also get kind of a multiplayer over there even though this game was created as a single player but it depends on what you like

Just Cause 3 and 4 share the same overall map size squared, but in terms of actual land mass, Just Cause 4 covers almost the entire map while Just Cause 3 is mostly water. Because of this, Just Cause 2 may have a bigger map than Just Cause 3, but Just Cause 4 is the largest map so far in the franchise.
