So what I did yesterday is to calculate which N's Season is the strongest and it's actually Winter N that had won. So I decided to only put the winter one. Also this is good since we are actually on Winter (In France at least). Also I could've put Calem but it's basically the same battle, it's just that the Rival had a different Starter, if you pick a different one but also Meowstic will be Male for Calem and Female for Serena. If you choose Blue, You can't challenge Red, that mean this isn't a forced battle and vice versa. About Blue, I can't put it on the video because he is less difficult than Red and less Harder because of his level... However If you want to watch the Battle with Blue, here : kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZa0gHyNpdOrnMk I also decided to only put his Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon team because he is more powerful than the one in Sun and Moon (He also had the exact same team) *6 Gladion is also an uptional, Hidden final boss. The only way to challenge his Kanto starter team is to defeat Necrozma and he will appear one month later (You also can't edit the time because it will not work) He is really powerful. *7 Veteran Aristo deserved this title Just like Shaun (That is actually the strongest NPC of all time) This one was really hard to make it challenge. You need to defeat all the regular trainer of the game on each route to be able to challenge him. He got a pretty powerful team. *8 Trainer Hop and Leon are also optional, just like the rest of the challenger(Like Marnie, Bede, the Gym leader, etc..) But since they are actually the most powerful trainer of the game, we can consider them Superboss, Especially Hop. To challenge Hop, you need to finish the story of the Legendary Mascot of the game. For Leon, you need to defeat his champion title. *I didn't put every powerful trainer this time but just the hardest one to challenge. Some new trainer were added and most battle strategy are different than last time because I played both version of each game.*

It was designed to make up for the lack luster difficulty in post game of gen 2 ... Gen 2 being more diverse and open wolrd like meant the linear level system failed and you always had overleveled pokemon if you ran a single team... I maybe wrong but this is what I feel

Some trainers had worse pokemon than the 7th gym leader in jotho had not to mention that only blue was a decent enough increase but for the 8th kanto badge and designed to be the last gym leader to battle even he had a weak team. Thats what i dont like about the second gen (initial release and remake) that its way too easy overall.

I don't think the point of Hop is that he's supposed to be tough, I think it's more like he's a rival with one of the best character developments. Unlike the other rivals who are all like "Yeah well I'll beat you next time," Hop goes from that into "I really don't think I can beat you. But you're the champion, so that's a good thing that I can't beat you, so I'll better myself so that nobody else could beat me."

While this isn’t the hardest super boss, I like the rematches you have with N. First, the fact that they take place in the destroyed Plasma Castle (the place of his final battle in B/W 1) is cool. Second, there’s a bit of evolution in N since you last saw him. He’s not the same person he was 2 years ago, and this is reflected in his new sprite smiling, remixed battle theme, and him no longer having the Plasma Logo. Lastly, he has 4 different teams, each based on a weather style, and weather was prominent in the competitive scene of Gen 5

I've always found the original RED (Silver/Gold) to be the hardest, mostly because he's so high leveled and in S/G the levels in general were so low (the idea of an upgraded elite four had not yet struck) so it took forever if ever to become equally high leveled.

Jonas Sjödin i absolutely agree. I was always that guy who used basically one pokemon the whole time so i probably would have had a typhlosion around 65 or 70(way higher than any normal player would have) by the time i found Red and to see that pikachu come out and he was level 81 i was absolutely flabbergasted. Im sure the first time i fought him it would have been brutal. And even after my fourth and fifth playthroughs when i was a few years older i still wasnt able to beat him consistently until i had beaten the elite four many dozens of times. Beating him the first time every playthrough was a real accomplishment. I mean even here the battle is very long and takes tons of items and switches to beat him. And on a side note, totally agree with you, grinding your starter up to level 80 was a real challenge in these games when the elite four is only in the 50’s and level 100 was a serious thing for only the no lifers (which i was!)

Not really. The only way he can flip you over is either that all your mons are at low level 60, or your mons are at level 70 and you get caught off guard while playing set mode. I find him to be pretty easy to defeat ngl

Diamond was the first game I had ever played in the series. I completed a few more after it, but was longing for another DS game. Friggin BW came out, really happy. I heard in some recess talk BW2 was gunna be a thing, and got super stoked. I remember clearing it out with basically the same team comp as BW, and I remember using the postgame to explore for random items in places. Opening that door and hearing that piano filled me with so much hype and dread at the same exact moment I had to take a second to go get a bottle of water, due to the nausea I got from that singular moment.
