Nicely done. I've built a trailerable houseboat myself and had to replace the front 8' of the boat when I realized how nose-heavy I had it. Taking off weight and adding lift. Works fine now.

Yes indeed hard to know exactly how it will sit until you get it on the water. In the process of upgrading the pontoons now, hoping for a bit more frontal lift!

I really like what you did. Very practical and fun. If you ever want to experiment with materials, I used to design with Alumilite panels which were strong and very lightweight. It is currigated plastic core, almost like a honey comb with an aluminum sheething on the outside. You probably already know of it but I love the stuff. Looking forward to see what you do next.
