I wonder if it is possible to petition 2k and turtle rock studios for a revival of this game... If they priced it at $10-$20 then it would be a huge hit again im sure. (I think that i remember performance issues being a big reason that thia game did not take off but i could be wronf about that)

@@mattoverton9087 Not sure about the performance issues since I was on console when it first came out and I didn’t have problems but yeah, it would definitely be a huge hit if it was at that price. I doubt 2k though would do anything but maybe Turtle Rock if they haven’t fully given up yet. Although, 2k owns the rights to Evolve so it would have to be 2k to do anything with the game unless they sell the IP

There existed an huge petition allreaddy that didn't have the desired effect. In the end 2k tried to kill the game again.

One of your gameplay vids was on my frontpage, checked it out and really enjoyed it, massive nostalgia. When I couldn't find where to get the game I found this, and damn, its such a shame that even a game as abandoned as this, which relies on a dedicated playerbase coordinating to keep it at all alive, hasn't just been made free to play by the devs, I assume the only reason they haven't is some sort of licensing rights issue? I really do think if they relaunched this game it might see some success, there really needs to be more DBD like games out there, and the concept for this one is so cool. I'd love to play but that pricetag is far too steep for me atm.

@@wowiexist9875 Yeah I don’t recommend anyone getting a key for Evolve at that price. It’s way too high. The devs don’t have the rights to Evolve anymore. Unfortunately, 2k does and they aren’t going to revive the game.

Got mine key from G2A it said it was the Stage 2 Global version. I got legacy and the rice fix working. I tried stage 2 and after before the training ended it crashed. I havent tried it since but I saw you playing stage 2 the other day my question is does it only work if you previously had stage 2 before it was shutdown? Like i said i havent tried it because it took me forever to get legacy with rice fix working and dont want to mess that up

@@renevale3450 I think it only works for people who had stage 2 before. I’m not 100% sure since I never had an issue and my stage 2 has always worked but some people also commented saying they had stage 2 since release and they couldn’t get it to work either. However, you can have both legacy and stage 2 installed at the same time. I made a video on how to do so. It’s pretty easy to do

i just miss playing renegade abe for tat sweet post dome dmg. but cant seems to be able play stage 2 offline😢. the dlc for legacy are missing as well.....

@@koyint If you install the rice fix for legacy, you get all the dlc skins and characters. Doesn’t work for stage 2 though

@@uhemi09 i added the rice fix. got the success message and everything... but all paid content are still locked for bot games. i do notice the crt file expired on 2024 feb. not sure if gotta do with it.

@@koyint Hmm that’s odd. Are you in our discord server? I recommend asking “Dein Albatraum” for support. He’s very knowledgeable on the rice fix and knows more about it than I do. He’ll definitely figure out the issue
