I appreciate the section about effective power even when approaching an empty battery, because the biggest limitation on my old evolve GT is having to be conservative with battery use relatively early into the ride. I think ill grab a bamboo diablo and dance on edge of crashing and style

You’re very welcome, I was blown away with the battery accuracy on the remote and on top of that the amount of power, now it did knock you down from corsa into sport mode to conserve that last little bit of battery but that’s fine, at that point your in limp mode any hopefully trying to get to a charger 🤣. Just tested the bamboo. Massive amount of fun and a big upgrade over my hadean. Big range, big speed and still looks and feels like a longboard.

Power, the deck on the bamboo is sublime, it pops and feels like a snowboard. Range is very Good and again, power is fantastic

There are so many technologically amazing boards available these days, but this juicy bamboo ride on hard bushings and greasy pivot cups has me daydreaming endlessly. I got a single ride in after receiving the board, followed by what looks like 2+ weeks of continuous east coast rain shutdown.. very harsh. with street wheels on imperfect pavement, the ~27+ mph speeds are where the butt really begins to clench. I didn't get any overcurrent warnings or really any struggle from the motors at all, going up long steep hills, and the throttle always had more headroom available.. the tuning is wonderful. It ate anything i had for it, though i was admittedly timid with topspeed until we get more acquainted. Ive rode the GT for years and the upgrade is on point. It would be nice if the force bash guard protected the gears, and the cable housing was a bit longer for the multiple truck wheel base positions, but these are scraping the barrel for any criticism i can come up with. Might have to travel to the nearest destination without rain because i want to ride more haha

Amazing input! Yeah as far as speed. The boards got it, torque and speed are no issues with this thing, I’d like a bash guard as well for just easier dragging behind me but it’s all good. Yeah we have rain forecast here for the next 6 days as well 😩 I just want to ride!

So what you are saying Drew is that evolve has finally caught back up with the competition after lagging for a few years . How did you like the remote . Have you tried acceleration and then touching the bracks . Just asking because they say it is fixed .

This is a proper board, the power matches and stands up! I have grown to like the trigger style remote. At first it wasn’t my favorite but having used it on the Onirique I’ve grown to appreciate it, the new ESC hasn’t had any issues with the 40 plus miles I’ve put on it so far, but obviously as a reviewer I’ll report any issues I find along the way! I was out the other day doing a race track and it felt great power was smooth and breaking felt good, strong but controlled

I never had a problem with my phase remote. It’s an extremely nice remote if the ergonomics work out for you imo. A while back I crashed the phaze remote pretty hard and it froze up but remote was fully intact and only scuffed. Evolve fixed it for free. Not saying they would do that for everyone but it was cool. So I assure you guys it’s not bomb proof but it is high quality.

I hope Evolve do well i always enjoy riding the Hadean ..When connected to there APP i was able to see where other Evolve riders lived...@$3300 au that price bracket gives alot of options in boards but having big cut outs around the base plates looks a bit janky to me....I like the improvements but will this power upgrade lead to drive train weakness in the long run...🤔 Im on the fence with this one ...🖐

with more power comes more responsibility... when going fully over the board everything seemed a good fit, ive only put about 45 miles on it total obviously not 10000 of miles to see if there is any long term issues but with customer service being available in the states and world wide its a peace of mind knowing that they will fix any issues down the road.

*Great shots man, loved the edit, such a vibe!* 🤟🏽⚡️🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽 Those silver/chrome trucks 🤩 Hadean flex was a little saggy so nice to it a bit stiffer so you don't hit the ground on street wheels 😂 The adjusted geometry on the trucks is the most interestin thing to me, as someone who is all about carvin at 15-20mph. Evolve electronics have never impressed me but the skate parts always have 👌🏽👌🏽 Out of all the carvin in the video, the street shots are my favourite here, some people love trails, hidden paths between trees are cool but I love the concrete jungle the most!

Thank you as always bruv! yes the trucks are very nice and the flex on the deck is honestly perfect now. 15-20 mph is the perfect sweet spot on this board, these trucks just eat up those carves so well! their electronics on this have impressed me now, the acceleration and power is there and the motor amps is truly up there. i agree, Im an urban jungle rider. I will ride trails and ive grown to love them with the proper board.

Honestly, this looks pretty good for Evolve. I still don't like that they are using that remote. It's very weird to get used to if you've been using anything else for years. No doubt the performance is great but it's still a tough sell compared to the Tynee Explorer that is $1k. Yeah, it's better in every way, but not by much and definitely not 2x the price worth.

I honestly have grown to like the remote, you have more dexterity in your finger than your thumb, giving you more range of motion for control and throttle response. it definitely took some time to get use to switching between remotes for other boards, but i like it.

It's funny that Acedeck is more honest about their range claims than Evolve. Despite only having about 30 Wh more than a 40T Ares or Nomad, they're advertising nearly twice the range

The Nomad 40T claims 34 miles on AT, while Diablo claims 31 miles from a bigger battery. Drew did 35.

But if that's the range claim he puts in his video, he should have tested with street wheels or should have claimed the AT range (or just both). Either way I still have a very hard time believing an 864 Wh battery will go 60 miles on street wheels when a propel pivot GT with the same battery doesn't even reach 45 miles with a light rider. Acedeck claims 40 miles on street wheels with 50S so my point still stands, and also expect the 50S nomad to get closer to 50 miles on street wheels with 1036Wh

@alterablebark54 I don’t know how to explain it my man, I rode it as I ride all my other boards for testing purposes, I break up the rides with fast runs, a lot of carving and fun riding and just daily activities like running around for errands and what not. I’ve ridden other 12s4p boards with 50s set ups and have gotten 25-28 miles of range but something about this set up allowed me to get further. Also there was less noticeable sag at the bottom end which I notice more on other boards at the bottom end. I was actually genuinely surprised as you are with the results.

it was my set up being so loose and my carving to hard, I tighten the trucks and it was still very very carvy but not to the point of hitting anything. also moving the trucks out to those outside holes helped a lot as well. I just waah paahed to hard hahaha

Completely redesigned and refined. Improved deck, esc, motors, and trucks. Way better range, power, and a fantastic ride. A little pricy yes... but you get what you pay for. I have 5 boards and only 1 being an evolve and let me tell you.... the build quality and customer service alone have made me go with this over other options out there. I've learned the hard way several times

This is very true. The only thing that sets this board apart from the competition is the cool controller! Acedeck is miles better in both price and performance. Evolve is just lacking in both of those departments.

Its got more power than any 2 in1 belt drive production board WITH more features and better remote with the smoothest throttle curve on the market. You need experience to know that. not reading a spec sheet on a website. how is there new diablo downgraded specs? everything else is better which should suck up more range?
