I'm still working on #4. As a single mom of 4 boys, being a nursing school student is a whole different level of crazy. Thanks for all your awesome videos!

Great video and I appreciate you making it for us! I am definitely a victim of #3 because by the time I realize the study method for that specific class, it's already mid-way ish to the end of the semester. About to attend uni in the fall and the academic support programs seem well equipped. I'm excited for sure!

Crazyy I was just kind of researching how to study better recently (for approaching large amounts of content) and signed up for Traverse a cpl days ago, and right now I was somewhat procrastinating studying/little confused on how to approach my Anat/Phys lecture slides w/Traverse bc there's sm content and so just went to your channel to see how do it lol & then you finding out that you know what Traverse is just totally confirmed where I should go back to rn haha! Especially w/the brief example too! Love all your vids, you're a huge inspiration/help + especially as a brotha in Christ! 🙏🏾

Great sharing, definitely a lot of points to talk about when it comes to these habits! Students will surely learn from this video, its so helpful! Habit number 2 is so common, we cram and put so much information in our brain in a limited time! Thanks a lot for sharing this!❤

I was using these methods all last year in all my AP courses. Going into junior year, I've learnt not to make these mistakes as not only did they yield lower results on my tests, they didn't help me learn the content (actually know to apply it properly), as well as take up way more time. Using active recall however for the AP exams helped me get all 5's!
@EvolvingMedic
@EvolvingMedic 2 жыл бұрын
Wow! That’s amazing! Thank you so much for sharing how some of these things like active recall has helped make you a success student! Great work!

One of the mistakes I made when I was studying for the one exam was studying a week before the exam.

Thanks for the video. Do you have any specific resource for learning cardiac OSCE physical exam for individual cardiac diagnoses?
@EvolvingMedic
@EvolvingMedic 2 жыл бұрын
I think the best way to prepare for OSCEs is to practice an organized approach to the exam on a friend/classmate. In terms of recognizing different pathologies, Amboss is a great resource

My problem is that I am a slow reader. In my course apperently I was supposed to write rehearsal questions - same questions that showed up on exam , but I thought I was supposed to read everything first before starting with the questions. So instaed of writing answers to questions I took alot of notes on the side of my litterature. Then for the last week before exam I almost had no answers to rehearsal questions and still alot to read... :(

Can you make a video on how you use Traverse with medical school? Have you tried uploading AnKing into it?
