@@m.a.o3273 The Snipe (or other debuff) in specialty 2 is worth building over time. The others are almost never worth building.

After awhile, players will have so many lower-level gears and less of the good ones that it's just good policy to slap them on all the sub generals. IMO, any kind of buffs to help the troops stay alive after being attacked so that the generals' debuffs still work is good business. It's harder now than before to get dragon gear and above. I've complained many times to CS on not getting any gear after hitting a dozen B10s & above that I given up complaining and settled to getting them whenever I can.

Nice review. I have 9 subs available and they were occupied by the wrong generals for a long time. I'm talking Princess Lucy and Constance wrong at the start (I know)... That said, I now have Himiko, Nordic Barbarian King, AJ, Edward the Black, Darwin, Cnut, Arminus - currently cultivating a second AJ and a Dowager Cixi. In the meantime, Charles Martel is boosting construction and Boudica was gaining EXP from kills.

If I were you I would use Barbarian, Cnut, AJ, AJ, Cixi, Arminus, and whoever depending on your subs....and replace them in reverse order when you get better gens.

@@gamingaddictswithgenghis Nice tip, I got Cixi quite late. Sidenite - the Tavern was giving some decent generals two weeks ago, I got three Jindeok's after about 3 months of playing.

I was also making alot of mistakes. I learned by watching the strong people in my servers, would even study the battle reports etc from SVS to learn different varieties of tactics. Evony is all about learning and sharpening your skills along the way, it's awesome to learn something new and always get stronger!

I found an epic npc gold sub city while looking for bosses to hit. Come to find out, someone won it during sub city searching but did not attack it to claim it as their own. It's a Korean sub. I'm keeping that.

I am a member of your Discord group, but... sometimes I wonder how accurate the other players are when they give advice, because sometimes the advice from different players is conflicting. Is there a point to growing your sub city to high levels? It doesn't seem like it, as the benefit of type(Epic/Legendary)/culture and the general/gear are far more important.

Hey.. great video. Just a questions about the general's skills. For example let's use Andrew Jackson. He debuffs range attack. It seems you are implying that the debuff range attack only works while on defense? I thought in every attack and defense, attack, hp, and defense comes into play. Does this mean that if I attack with Andrew Jackson in my sub, it will not debuff range attack?

No..I am saying both range attack and horse HP debuff work on attacking and defending...BUT the horse HP debuff is more important for attacking than it is for defense...it will also debuff archer attack both ways but its not as important to debuff archers when attacking because most people attacking with a solo attack are using archers to attack with and those archers will have archer range bonus and most defenders will not have archer range bonus, so the archers on the attack have the advantage. Hope that covers it all

I've heard that Jackson only stacks twice, so having more than 2 is a waste... been told there are a few that only stack twice and some don't stack at all.... that was a while ago, has something changed or have I heard wrong?

@@gamingaddictswithgenghis Thanks for the reply. I agree, but really, the only one that REALLY needs to be accomplished is politics to increase the Death to Wounded percentage. With leadership, you get faster training speed, but in the end, 25k troops is relatively useless so it doesn't matter how fast they get trained. Am I reading this wrong or is it pretty much personal preference.

I'm more a monster hunter and a gatherer because I feel bad whenever I attack especially smaller players, so I don't participate in KE. but lately I'm ranking well in SVS, battlefield and Barbarian events so I need to prioritize my pvp learning. I'm a K29, non-coiner, with decent tech. I'm only just waiting for consuming event to be a K30. I have an Andrew Jackson, Musa (1 star ascended) and William Wallace as debuff generals (I only have 7 subs). Now I can get a free general as a Trial of Knight reward. So I should get Nordic over Baldwin or Amr right?

This is pretty flawed advice. You really should be trying to debuff every stat by 50% with the new buffs its very important to debuff ground hp since new ground gens have 1200% ground hp and defense with archduke and 9 full sets of debuff gear you still have a tough time halving these stats.

Yes but the issue is you can't...some are easy to get 50...then there is ground att which is impossible...horse attack has become difficult...archer attack and horse hp are always difficult and yet the two most important..id love to see your stats that help you debuff everything to 50...also ground HP is easy to debuff..so no sense using a sub gen to get it...
