Holy crap, I was doing everything wrong!! No wonder a lower keep level player with a smaller march kept zeroing me in the last BoG the other day. Thank you for explaining the game mechanics.

Great video! was curious for the troop march type max out, it seems you have maxed numbers going down from t14, what numbers did you use for the lower tiers? I see you have them but didn't cover it: t14: 450,000 ; t13: 850,000 ; t12: 400,000 ;

T13: 180,000 ; .. do you go all the way down with maxed troop numbers for the march type?

So the lower tier troops, even for the main type of troop like archer, you want between 500-2000. The low tier troops dont do much damage, and you want to save space for more high tier troops. That said, you usually want to send mostly t11 and t12 tiers, and a bit less t13 and much less t14, because they are expensive, and dont trade cost effeciently. And you dont want to send as little as possible low tier troops, because they are weak and you might lose your attack otherwise. t1-t7 about 1000 of each of your main troop attack type, and about 100 of the other types.

Another great video thanks. So different subject. Since I have no dragon for my maxed out seige gen would you think I could take fafnir off mounted and use maxed out bird of hurricane spiritual beast on mounted instead of dragon

Fafnir can be used for siege on the early levels, because his first talent helps siege i think. That said, i think it's better to train his talent for mounted, and wait to get the Dragon of Thebes, which is specifically for siege. Also, siege general is low priority early game. More important is mounted, ranged, and ground. Also, i used spiritual beast for my mounted general because it gives bonus to item drop rate, which is the most important thing for farming boss monsters and vikings. So it's still good to have the mounted spiritual beast.

So, from T10 to T1 have 500 to 1000 men. And T11 up is higher?

Does this also apply to attacking barbarian castles?

No, barbarian castles are PVM, not PvP. Layers don't matter. Send your strongest troops, but not siege.
