Great video and information! I have done everything like you said and I am still working on Ulysses now that my other 4 generals are done. He has the same equipment and skill books but I have not switched Nidhogg from him to Martinus yet because it is only lv8 and Fafnir is lv10. Still refining the gear and he is only 4.8M. But my alliance doesn’t have enough siege yet for more than one rally so we have only used him a couple times to soften up a bigger castle before we ranged them. But glad to hear that I am doing things right and in the same order as you recommend! I love watching you guys in battlefield and I have learned so much from you! We are still fighting individually except for the bigger guys and we just hive up to hit them and then go back to it. (I should mention we only have me 1.6B and a 1.8B the rest are under a billion and we never see anyone over 2.4B in battlefield) S403

haha thank you Duca! For the purposes of attacking with a siege general, the ares ring is better since it reduces enemy range defense, rather than reducing range attack. Enemy range troops do not attack siege troops first, rather attacking siege troops attack defending range troops first, so reducing their range defense has more of an impact than reducing their range attack.

Hey man I know it’s been awhile since you’ve posted this hopefully you see this comment. Im a big fan of your siege setups, however a lot of folks in my alliance think this setup only works because you and your team have massive buffs. What minimum siege attack would you recommend everyone should have before you start using this setup?

Hey Thunder, I agree, having a solid team is definitely important - but I also think having 1) the right preset 2) at least 7 or 8 people joining 3) having the right target is just as important. 1) 1k all layers, maxed t11 siege. 2) you need 7/8 people because you need to create enough turns for the enemy to get stuck. Little hard to explain, but trust me - the more quantity of marches in the rally, the better. 3) I'd say like 1k-1,100 is good, but Don't go swinging in SvS until you do this in BF. You're safe to do this at any power in Battlefield, you just need the preset + proper siege range (Ring + Book)

Love your videos. Layering siege 1-9 @ 5,000,000 and increase at 10-14?? Concentrating on T11 and 13 or 14? Thank you. And if you are over a 5B player and hitting a strong k35-37, say under 3B, you would not send a solo T11 Siege? Why?

Yes i think accross the board, increasing layers up to 5m is a great idea (for all stars level play). And IMO, t11 and t13 concentration is a good idea, probably heavier towards 11 if your alliance is sending a lot of t11 rallies. And siege does better when you're attacking in numbers tbh. The more people you have, the better it does!

Not sure if you'll even see comments on this older video before, but when you talk about how to rein against a T11 rally, wouldn't a ton of people sending 1k layers of siege also be pretty effective and probably a lot lower power loss? I'm talking like 10 people. Just tons of 1k layers would slow the enemy down and cause them to have turn after turn hitting small layers while the keep defense wipes out the rally.

t11 range can work yeah, but I'm not an expert on this. From what I've heard, Bama in C1 is the t11 range expert. Commonly used in SvS for good power exchanges

Watch out, game has changed a lot since this has been released and t11 are not very usefull as used to. T13/14 are the way to go now and after you have bulk them up, move down the tiers as just having a bunch of t11 would basically giving free points to the enemy.

For a 1.5m T11 march, it's around 70mish power I believe, little less actually. It's not that bad.

For its range being same as t12 and cheaper. While you hit eventually u lose attack t11 are less is power while u take out enemies tiers siege. Thus you win power trade by huge margin. Try it once u will have your answers
