How do you attack to get their generals? Because I attacked a subordinate city and won but didnt get the general yet someone attacked one of mine and got my general?

Only NPC cities can have the general added to your army after successfully defeating the sub for the first time (anyone in the server). If it is player owned and someone attacked it, they may capture the general temporarily but it will not be useable in their army, to get these back you can revive them in the shrine/pay the ransom etc

Any way to know how many epic subs there are at any time? are they ever increasing/spawning? or its always a set number?

I mean it probably starts at like 8 or something but as time goes on, historic city searching events pop up which will end up spawning like 4 more each time. Also if a server is merged you may double up on them

Did you say that if you have the accept reinforcement button NOT checked, it will prevent your general from being taken or dying on an external subcity?

When you untick those buttons then your main city troops and all other sub cities will not be in the battle to defend the subordinate city, likewise they will not defend your main city. This means only the city being attacked is at risk of having troops and generals die

yeah i mean that gives you a split so that you can attack and defend quite well while also leaving options open in the future if you wanted to trade those subs to go heavy into just japan or just russia

The general will be automatically unassigned and will be available to use as normal. Any troops that you had will be lost forever but this does not typically affect you much as subordinate city troops are awful unless you spend a few thousand on subs

Actually I may ask for advice haha so it’s uncommon and has T3 and T4 troops, it has Inf T3 2.2k & T4 7.5k, Rng T3 2.4k & T4 6.8k, Cav T3 2.6k & T4 7.9k and Siege T3 2.1 K & T4 7.7k. My best General that isn’t a gathering or Monster General is Mulan, I have access to T4, nearly up to T5 as I’m preparing for K14 upgrade. How many Troops should I have to minimise my losses and of which type? Should I wait until I have T5?

For experienced players like myself it is relatively easy to get to keep 20+ in the first couple weeks. I understand for new players this could be longer but is still worth striving for before training troops. You will want to train tier one siege and some mounted to assist with killing some monsters here and there for medals. You may want hundreds of thousands of tier one siege for gathering resources on the world map, but the more active you can be the less this is recommended because of the resource drain. You want to do everything in your power to reduce army size at this stage, not increase it, unless required for gathering as mentioned previously of course. As Server vs Server and Battlefield are the primary events for any players future.. your army at this level will become beyond obsolete within a short period of time. Keep level should be every players goal. I recommend getting to at least keep 21 before training 100k or so troops (excluding any t1 siege for gathering) and only train over 500k when at 25+

I actually just realised this is based on subs and I can't see what video it was posted on 😂 my previous points still apply and I would suggest to hold off on subs until later as low level ones don't offer enough stat increases especially for players that have not already maxed other things that are more worth your time such as general stats and research. If you really want to defeat these it's better to go off power rather than the troop amount to keep it simple. You will be better off fighting blue and below with 1m march power minimum to minimise losses but the likes of green should be easy with much less, although I never tried to take these with a super low keep 😅

You may upgrade the first one in the list of Subordinate cities as it is the default one that cannot be stolen/abandoned. It costs a lot of gems and requires certain Subordinate city keep levels for upgrading all the way to epic. You may do this by clicking on this one from the list, then clicking the green "up" button

level 1. However if a city is stolen from you and then you take it back, your levels will not reset back to level 1

Hi , our server is 3 months old and I didn’t know about subs till 2 weeks ago . I’ve just finished watching your two videos about subs and we’re in the middle of KE so I don’t know if this (KE) is the only time that I can attack to get a city cause I have none right now because I thought I should buy it by using clues . I searched the map and found green ones and a lot of commons but you said that if we attack subs we might get our troops permanently killed and I don’t want that so what can I do to avoid that? . My alliance isn’t active at all and this is my first time playing and nobody is really guiding me so I’m kind of late for everything although I used money and play a lot , I want to join big alliances but the members speaks all the time and it’s kind of annoying and embarrassing as my phone keeps buzzing so is there any way to turn off the AC without keeping my phone on silent mode ? . I wish I can move to your server and be in your alliance , you sound like a good person and player and your fellow teammates are really lucky to play with . Thanks .

My current culture is Europe , I think it’s a good culture but I have a male avatar and I want to change it but I don’t like all of Europe females avatars so I need to change the culture

It's a shame your alliance isn't the best! It will depend on your phone but you can find the notifications setting for it and turn off these for evony. Also you can go in the settings of the game itself and pick/choose the notifications you want and also the ones you do not want. I personally have everything turned off except timers and my bubble notification! Although I know quite a bit due to many reasons im not nearly active enough in the game to actually be the best i can and therefore even my server/alliance is not getting enough 1on1 mentoring to achieve consistent wins in events/SvS. I'm not in the best of servers either :( When i say troops die permanently when attacking subordinate cities this is how they work, you cannot avoid having troops die when taking them it is just something you have to do in order to capture them. It is possible to lose 0 troops but that is unlikely for yourself to do. I doubt you will lose any more than 200k power from attacking a green subordinate city. All that said, you can avoid losing troops if you steal a subordinate city from another player instead however you will need to attack it 10 times (and win 10 times) in comparison to an NPC subordinate city only needing to be attacked once. If your server does peace period after this kill event you could use that to attack NPC subordinate cities (unowned) without fear of being attacked by another player.

The culture change will affect the buffs you gain from culture selections and also your default subordinate city will have its buffs changed. However you WONT lose levels, buildings, generals etc

You need to search around on the world map, try to find a system that works for you to cover as much ground as possible without looking in the same area twice, it is somewhat luck in finding them but they are there if you look long enough!

You cannot get brand new ones other than the clue event, although sometimes blues may not be owned by a player, or can be stolen

You will get additional spots as you rank up in prestige which is displayed in the shrine and/or the "Rank Ranking" leaderboard. You may earn prestige primarily via attacking monsters, boss monsters and offering to the shrine using gems (do it at least once a day). The maximum amount is 9 Subordinate cities but only roughly the top 10 people on your server may have this many

Question: I wanted to test linking the subs in a PvP vs not bringing them. When I do link them I get a 32-34% increase in my attack % buffs. I can’t figure out what is triggering the attack % buff since I thought subs only brought a debuff to the enemy. Can anyone explain????

I can only imagine there is something you were not accounting for when doing the test because no large players use the buff generals in a sub because they do not work for troops other than the ones in that specific sub

Killed troops may only be healed from the hospital when in a server vs server war, which is for servers older than 2 months and is only one weekend a fortnite. The only other saved troops will be found in the holy palace if you have that unlocked, although most troops will be gone forever

these options prevent players from attacking a subordinate city and killing your main city troops. However, if someone attacks your main city your subordinate cities will also not fight for you and therefore your subordinate city buffs will not apply in battle.

If you attack a subordinate city and win, you should capture the city first time. This is different if it is owned by a player and usually takes 10 wins to capture/steal. If you are unable to capture it after a win, you have run out of subordinate city slots. It is recommended to abandon low tier subs to make room for better ones as you progress. You may check the subordinate city slots in the subordinate city tab. The primary way to increase sub slots is by offering in your shrine/attacking bosses to earn Prestige, which levels up your rank as found in the rank ranking leaderboard.

They may help by attacking the subordinate city and capturing it. If it is not owned by a player they simply attack once, if owned by a player it will require 10 hits. If you are stealing it from another player your friend may be able to attack it a few times first then you do the remainder of the ten to take it easily. If you wanted an unowned Subordinate city, have your friend take it and have him let you steal it from him. Just make sure his troops are not defending the Subordinate city by ticking those options off in the sub

You do need to do them one after the other to ensure that you capture the city, however, you don't have to overly rush it, just don't expect to come back the next day and continue hitting the city less than 10 times. If you do not have a free spot for more subordinate cities you cannot capture it so make sure you have them by going to your subordinate city tab and looking at the top for this information.

How would you know if you can take a city? I attacked one that I had an "extreme likely" and failed. Lost my entire army

The likeness of winning can sometimes be broken, this usually happens because the overall power might be good however the type of troops you are using or more likely the tier of troops is not optimal. If attacking a purple or epic sub city it is best to use Tier 10 troops or higher to have a better chance at defeating the enemy troops. Did you use a lower tier or only one type of troop when you lost this battle?

@@dondavis8588 I would recommend Tier 7+ for green and T9+ for blue to be safer. Green attack with 1M+ power and blue 2M+ power. The more you can use, the better. If you have like 20 times more power in your march with only siege you should be able to kill it with no losses, but otherwise that will be unavoidable

@@dondavis8588 I find ground is helpful when you dont have the siege required to get zero losses. This depends upon everyone's specific stats however so if you primarily are built for archers, ensure you send more of those. Ground is good if your stats are quite even between all types. If you need additional help you can let me know your exact troops/generals/stats if need be

@@eatchas You want to earn gems from daily login, wall rewards, competing in various events such as monarch events and the undead event with your alliance. If you are low on gems there are also gem mines on the world map you may gather from if needed. The only method to keep yourself permanently under a bubble is to be using gems earned from these methods and more. It is important to keep bubbles on your city 24/7 where possible to ensure you do not lose troops and resources to other players

this is not possible for normal subordinate cities, you only may change your first subordinate city. This can be done by changing the culture of your entire city, which can be done in the keep building

Yes, depending on your rank in the server for prestige. This may be viewed in the rank ranking leaderboards or in the shrine to a lesser degree. To increases the limit make sure you participate in boss rallies/kill them yourself, kill regular monsters and offer in the shrine

I have tested this video with multiple output methods on pc, my phone and tablet as well as another persons phone without an issue with volume. It could be a bit louder so that max volume isn't necessary although i don't think that it is the video that is the problem, does this also happen on my newer videos or other youtubers channels?

VIP levels provide one but the main way is getting higher ranks via earning/purchasing prestige. This is done from the shrine by offering with gems/tributes bought from alliance shop etc and of course attacking monsters/boss monsters by yourself or in alliance rallies.

Subordinate city clues were on my list for a video to put out as the event is back, so keep an eye out for that one probably today.
