I agree, the Evotech tail tidy kit is top notch. It was the first thing I put on my 2020 SDR. Man, I feel sorry for you guys in the UK/Eur with those massive number plates. Kind of defeats the purpose of a tail tidy. I'm in CA and our plates are only 7"x4" Drinking beer and wrenching on bikes - One of my favorite pastimes! Cheers

Hey! This is actually the smallest plate we can have! I you pay less on registration they're even bigger🤦‍♂️ although still doesn't come close to the size of the things in the uk!😂 still.....we have to work with what we have, and still looks way better than stock.

Great vid! What a shame you have to have a bloody 12m² number plate thought! It almost makes the tail tidy irrelevant - but it does look tonnes better. All things going well, I'm ordering my SDR in the next week or two. Going with the Black one... I work for a certain Dutch bank and have more than enough Orange in my eye balls every day. I don't need it all over my bike too. :)

Shame there are so many regulations in Deutchland. First thing I do is fit a smaller plate and end can with no baffles! Tail tidy looks much better though...

Come to Ireland, no yearly inspection, use whatever baffles you want, put as small of a number plate if you want and no police coming after you.

I liked the Rizoma i had on the prior SDR better. I bought this one to go with the updated SDR and while it's fit and finish is absolutely amazing, the engineers at Evotech seemed to have tipped the bottle back a bit on Friday while finishing up the design on the turn signal mounting as it really only works with the OEM signals (for us in the US, that means living with crappy incandescent bulbs) Otherwise you have to jump through hoops to mount something else, because the KTM signals use a different thread than most aftermarket ones and this tail tidy only accepts the special OEM nut KTM engineered for the bike. I found a work around but it was a pain. And don't get me started on the idiot KTM engineer who thought hiding the front turn signal disconnects deep in the belly of the bike made sense.

Nice work! I notice you have a garmin gps on the handlebars. I am getting my new sdr next week and also have a garmin gps. Where have you plugged it in? Have you led your cables to the battery in some way?

Hi No there are two auxiliary cables on the front left side of the tank. You need to take off the filler cap panel, and then the side fairing, and they're tucked away in the there. Aux 2 is the one you want, as it only get power when the ignition is on👍

It was just as easy as I didn't have to tear down any fairings or headlights or similar. Do you have a video on your installation of the GPS? Would have been great to see where the cables are and what they look like

I've just installed the Urban ABS pannier system, and there was enough room. Couldn't tell you for sure if the Blaze system would be the same.

I couldn't tell you for sure, but if the diameter of the smaller indicators at the base, are the same as the stock ones then yes.

Hello mate! I just came in from the garage having just finished installing my Evotech Tail-tidy-kit. While I did have a lot of help from the instruction manual I often found it way easier to just watch your video. One thing that worries me though, is the wires to the number plate light. I would have liked to see them sit more tightly in the connector, as now I feel like they can fall out at any minute if it vibrates too much. Did you just put them in or did you aldo press the connectors with some type of pliers?

Hi, i have the same tail tidy on my SDR 3.0 and i actually dont have any problems with it but be carefull, i read from a few people that they lost their plate because it broke. i safed my plate with a wire, so when it brake that i dont loss it. Btw best regards from ur neighborhood (Münster) :)

They've now used thicker aluminium on the number plate bracket, seems they snapped off due to vibration. Luckily I got the improved version.

Noice, I bought both the Evotech & Mustard (from oz) tail tides for my 790 Duke haven't chosen which one I'll fit yet as it depends which best clears the indicators from the Leo Vince dual can exhaust I'm still waiting to arrive. But the Mustard weighs considerably less that the EvoTech.

Hi did u put red with red on the rear number platr wire .i put red to red it didnt work .i then put black to red and it worked.i emailed evotech and he said ducati is red to red .misleading instructions.

At $350. Dollars without taxes and S&H, not getting a set of indicator is a Damm rip off. I am not buying Chinese on eBay. It would be great if Evotech would sell the entire kit at a discount rate. The Evo tech is nice however as soon as you put that billboard plate on it all goes down hill..here in the states ours is about 4inch by 6inch..and most us don't ride with one...we have a no chase law, just give it the gas and away we go...ktm all day long...thanks for your video...

If you look closely at the wires, the LH wires have a red tag, and the RH ones, green. Clearly, someone in Evotech is a mariner! Ship's LH sidelights are red, and RH, green... Thanks for the video.
