Nice one Shaun, I think was in Scotland when you did this trip, it would’ve been good to meet up.

I use an external mic recorder, the Zoom F2 BT, which has its own app, so I can control it via my phone.

The Healy Pass is one of my favourite roads in the country, I live less than an hour from there so it's a nice handy route to do and come down in to Kenmare and home, it's a nice loop to do. Hope you enjoyed it.

Brilliant... Brings back memories from 19 years ago. Stopped at that mountain 'shop' (no graffiti back then either) for photos and have a lovely picture of me and my late father sitting on the wall with the pass behind us. Wonderfully place. Thank you Sean. 👍

Well bugger me, I'm a bit late to this vid. That was me on the KTM that you were following. I had no idea that you were behind me. I had to laugh at 5:44 when you weren't concentrating as you were 'busy cocking around with the sat nav'. I also was taken by surprise as I was busy standing on the pegs enjoying some air and a stretch of the legs. Shows how easy it is to have a little 'whoopsie' on these big group rides.

Never done that route, saved in Google Maps! I think I have next year’s trip planned, the rest of the WAW I didn’t finish in 2018, the bit south of Tralee and a nice ride south through Wales to get there, oh it’s rough being retired🤣this year it’s a week exploring the islands and coast north of Glasgow🙄😉. Good video Sean, very jealous👍

Hi, I love your vids, a few of us are visiting the Harz in September this year. I know most of the roads are brilliant, but are there any roads that we should not miss? Thanks.
@thelikeablerider88002 күн бұрын
Thanks very much! The North West tip is awesome, south of Goslar, you'll probably enter the Harz towards Clausthal-Zellerfeld, also mega. The one not to miss is the 36 Kurves A85 to Kyffhäuser which exists the reserve to the South.

Just found your video about the DUSC cases that I've also bought recently. I've tried to find a cargo net for the top box but can't see one on the SW Motech / Motohaus websites, only one for their Trax system. Is the net in the top box in your video a Trax one and if so does it fit OK?
@thelikeablerider880011 күн бұрын
They're the same nets! If you're after using them for the DUSC system, then order them in large👍😜

Great looking hotel. Next episode should be good when you get into the Kerry mountains. Hotels are getting expensive in Ireland as 30% of hotel beds are taken by the New Irish paid for by the very generous Irish tax payer.

Great to catch up with the tour Shaun, been saving them up whist I went on my own, completely opposite, odyssey - passing not far from your own turf. Not being in Rukka society (tour cost me less than one of their suits) only had to put my Richa Rain Warrior suit on in three times in a fortnight! Smashing to see you getting on with the Triumph, it's a great feeling finding a bike that really suits you. Looking forward to the next episode.
