Thinking about getting one for my XSR but wonder whether the rectifier is all that susceptible to damage. It probably isn’t. Already quite a solid thing.

What about the tools that come with the bike under the seat??? There isn't some there you can use????

I really like that bike so badly.. that's an amazing bike my goodness classic designed are gorgeous men. My envy are killing me right now i wish had one. Take a good extra care for that bike men will somebody stole that if you wouldn't... thats Incredible bike men. And your amazing too..

Is the rectifier for the YAMAHA XSR900 the same as the MT-09 Tracer? Ive only ridden my bike 300 miles and already the rectifier is clogging up. Im after one for the Mt-09 Tracer.

I don't think so, I also have a Tracer and I've never seen the rectifier exposed, I think it's in a different location.

Critical Rider yeah it's a slightly different location above the rear wheel but still exposed to all the crud.

I need to check it when I'm back home. But I don't see any protector for the Tracer on Evotech's website, so it probably doesn't fit.

Rizoma sells a gas cap for this bike: cost is 190 Euro. Criminal, but its a lovely CNC piece of kit.
