It's a waste!!! Actually the life of batteries after their use in EVs is really practical! One use is to store electricity for businesses or homes, utilizing the energy created by solar panels so you have no lost electricity!

Lots of companies recycle old EV batteries, whether its' repurposing them or physically breaking it down and reusing parts, no different than a standard engine really!

Modern EV's haven't really been around long enough for us to answer that question, but with the improvements we see every day in technology, we're sure there will be an answer to this soon enough!

This isn't something we'd recommend doing yourself as it could be unsafe, however there are companies that take the batteries and repurpose them into the things mentioned in the video!
