They will continue to buy at spaza shops probably cause there’s no other alternatives maybe the mall is to far or there’s not much local shopping centres. So spaza are cheaper and close by for the residents

Kids are more sensitive to the stuff like rat poison, they are small so the effect is stronger. Hence on medicines it will say not for children unless you perhaps lessen the dosage

Many of these cash and carries spray their dry groceries, against weevils etc. I have purchased beans and lentils and barley, only to discover upon opening, that their was alot of dead weevils. That's why I don't shop at these kinds of cash and carry, any more, not even if the price is great.

But these insect killers are sold among the stalls in the streets malls all over it does not mean it's the porridge, this is what I am trying to get through, it's not retailers always to blame, blame the wrong place, no spaza shop would deliberately sell poison foods, they know the danger, I think those kids died from the poison they got where they were, now they blame spaza shop
@Tinker85313 күн бұрын
Firstly some of these products are banned products being smuggled into SA and sold in the market. How many times have raids been done, shown on TV and expired foods found on shelves. In this video inspectors are actually showing you evidence of insecticide stored amongst food, but you seem to be blind to it. A woman bought baby powder milk and found it was expired by a year. She called Gayton Mckenzie who cleared the shop owners products mainly all expired foods and had him arrested. Do you not consider expired food to be a HEALTH & SAFETY RISK??? If Spaza shop owners know the danger why are they constantly doing it??/ Health and safety Inspectors have said it publicly Spaza shops are not compliant at all, despite several warning. Obviously the government is too blame for not taking action, but lady anyone selling expired foods is DELIBERATELY putting people in harms way.
